You might want to ask the people who actually wrote the library your using. Considering there are thousands upon thousands of controls and libraries out there, it's very unlikely your going to find anyone who knows anything about the library you're using.

May be you can do this with DDE, Dinamic Data Exchange, it works fine with Excel and work
DDE(Word!) = ListBox1.Text (I don't remmember very well, but is something like this)

To grab the text from the listbox use
text=listbox.selecteditem.text
then depending on what program you want to write to very simply:
OpenFile(1,filename,outputmode)
Writeline(1,text)
FileClose(1)
something like this anyway.

I have a MainMenu with four levels of MenuItems. The value given in the "Name" property of each MenuItem is stored in a database table's column. The table also contains a second column used to Enable or Disable (1 for Enable and 0 for Disable) the MenuItem. While loading the form, I read all the names from the table's first column whose second column's value is 1. Then I have to enable all these MenuItems before the form is being displayed. Initially all the MenuItems are disabled. While the "Name" property is available at design time, I could not find it while coding. Please help me overcome this. Urgent.

You might want to download the notes from the following websites, these are the notes my instructor teaches VB.NET with, they are really great notes. You will find what you're looking for in the unbound database notes.

You can't! If your code didn't launch the MessageBox, you can't stop it from popping up.

For the life of me, I can't figure out what your doing... What are you talking about, "run a PDF file through multimedia"? What does this mean? What warning message? What exactly are you trying to do? Care to post a snippet of your launching code so we can see what your doing?

hi...
I have used microsoft word 2003 to create a document. After that, I my vb.net coding... i use microsoft office 11.0 Object library to call this document and modify the text in the document... it work fine in my project... The problem is when i transfer this file and my project to another system tat have only microsoft word XP... the error will occur .... anyone know how to solve this problem??? thank you very much ...
the command line that cause error was:
wordDoc = WordApp.Documents.Open(FileName:=Directory.GetCurrentDirectory & "\New Report Template\" & TemplateFileName, ConfirmConversions:=False, Revert:=True, Format:=Word.WdOpenFormat.wdOpenFormatRTF)
the error message was:
An unhandled exception of type 'System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException' occurred in cosecmain.dll
Additional information: The server threw an exception.

Your code is obviously trying to import a COM object that does not exist on the machine, because it has an earlier version of Word to the one you imported on your dev machine. If an earlier version supports the functionality you want, then hopefully you can import it instead on your dev machine, and the new version will support the same object as well as the updated one.

Yes... the "late binding" method has solved my problem. but, there is a command line tat will cause another problem..
my code
wordDoc.Content.Find.Execute(FindText:="#Memo1#", ReplaceWith:="abc", Replace:=Word.WdReplace.wdReplaceAll)
error message:
An unhandled exception of type 'System.MissingMemberException' occurred in microsoft.visualbasic.dll
Additional information: Public member 'Content' on type 'Application' not found.
do u know how to solve this??

Sorry, no. Does Word need the VB6 dll, perhaps ? I am guessing, you'd do better to wait for someone who knows more about VB than I do to answer.
