RegardLess of the time zone, when i send my that application containing hello message , it should go to all the users who are currently using the internet.
Yup you were rite. SomeThing like a virus but just from spreading point of view.

Why do you want something to spread just like a virus? If somebody wants your code, they will download it or something, but if somebody doesn't want it, don't bother them with it

we are hopes blue color ( or several color ) for highlighted eria.
We could not color by our coding.
Please advice as soon as possible.

We tried it what take stopgap way of programming. The result was no good which is temporizing, mess and so on.
If you suggest the GridCtrl, we are very sorry that could not use it because most of the programm make by ClistCtrl & CheaderCtrl.
Therefore, please advice the about ClistCtrl & CheaderCtrl as soon as possible.

We have process as the following,
1. The user does the tracking at detaile of list, same as tracking at between the header items.
2. We does flow of programming as following,
2-1. changes cursor image then on the vertical grid line and near the it, like the hover motion on Header CTRL.
2-1-1. When start up the programm, does get the Header Ctrl of Hover Motion information.
2-1-2. Also, does get the tracking cursor image.
2-2. prepare tracking then hold the left click on mouse.
2-3. indicate vertical solid line then moving mouse cursor with holding Lclick.
2-3-1. When, does indicate solid vertical line, same as header tracking info of size, and so on.
2-4. indicate the look of tracking continury unless does not hold off the click.
2-4-1. using the OnMouseMove event function.
2-5. Then finish of tracking by hold off click, move & indicate the rows of width & positions.
2-5-1. When hold off, get the horizontal position & movement quantity.
2-5-2. set pos, width and so on, repaint these rows
3. We are certain of process flow, but we does not known functions and so on, about CListCtrl & CHeaderCtrl. so we could not coding to make the programm.
Therefore, please advice as soon as possible.
In conclusion, i am very sorry for my poor english.

Hi,
I am getting a vague problem, and I'm unable to figure out the reason for
this. I am working with MDI application. I wanted to remove maximize and
minimize buttons of the CMDIMainFrame window. So I handled it in
OnNewDocument as shown below.
BOOL CLogAppDoc::OnNewDocument()
{
DWORD style = ::GetWindowLong(AfxGetMainWnd()->m_hWnd, GWL_STYLE);
// Remove the thick frame style and the Minimize, Maximize buttons
style &= ~(WS_MAXIMIZEBOX|WS_MINIMIZEBOX|WS_THICKFRAME);
::SetWindowLong(AfxGetMainWnd()->m_hWnd, GWL_STYLE, style);
}
I wanted the window to be in maximized mode at startup, so in InitInstance
function of application class, I modified the ShowWindow call as follows
pMainFrame->ShowWindow(SW_MAXIMIZE);
Now when I run my application the window appears to be in maximized mode,
but it isn't so, because when I move the mouse cursor to the title bar and
right click on it, the move sub menu item is enabled. This implies that my
window is not in maximized mode, though it appears to be in maximized mode
by occupying the full screen area, and using the move option I can drag the
window.
Now if I comment the code that I've written above in OnNewDocument(), the
window is in maximized mode and the move submenu item of the popup menu is
disabled, but I will get the maximize and minimize buttons on the title bar.
My intention is to let the window be in maximized mode at startup and
minimize & maximize buttons should not be there on the title bar. Can any
one please help me to figure out my mistake?
Thanks
Madhavi.

Add Virtual Function "PreCreateWindow" to the MainFrame Class:
Like this:
BOOL CMainFrame::PreCreateWindow(CREATESTRUCT& cs)
{
// this code disable sysmenu from mainframe
cs.style &= ~WS_SYSMENU;
if( !CMDIFrameWnd::PreCreateWindow(cs) )
return FALSE;
// TODO: Modify the Window class or styles here by modifying
// the CREATESTRUCT cs
return TRUE;
}
|
|
|
|
|
Thanks to both of you for your inputs...

Add this:
AfxGetMainWnd()->GetSystemMenu(FALSE)->RemoveMenu(
SC_MOVE, MF_BYCOMMAND | MF_GRAYED); to the OnNewDocument method.
Then implement ON_WM_NCHITTEST() of the CMainFrame as follows:
UINT CMainFrame::OnNcHitTest(CPoint point)
{
UINT x=CMDIFrameWnd::OnNcHitTest(point);
return (x==HTCAPTION) ? HTTRANSPARENT : x;
} Strange requirements, anyway...

Hi!
I've recently changed my computer and my project has some problem registering one of it's component ever since. I'm pretty sure the path is fine (used to be on h:, now on f . All other components register fine. I get that error:
error PRJ0019: A tool returned an error code: "Performing registration"
If I try to do a regsvr32 mydll.dll in the Debug or Release folder, I get this error:
LoadLibrary("mydll.dll") - The specified module could not be found.
Now, if I try to debug that component by adding regsvr32 to the command line and $(TargetPath) for the parameters, I get a a different error:
LoadLibrary("f:\some old path that I don't use for months") - The specified module could not be found.
Finally, if I move mydll.dll to another folder (outside the project tree), it will register just fine!
I suspect that $(TargetPath) is the culprit, but I don't know where to look for that value.
Thanks!

Hello.Well i can't help you to solve ur problem but your problem gives me an outside chance to solve my problem.
I reckon that you must know how to make release folder for vc 6 application.
Please tell me the steps involved.
ThankYou.

Its posible that your project file is still referencing things on your h: drive.
Open your .dsp file in notepad and search for h:

Ok, VC++ tells me the same errors all the time:
MSVCRT.lib(MSVCRT.dll) : error LNK2005: _sprintf allready defined in LIBCD.lib(sprintf.obj)
As far as I understand it, it is a problem with incompatibel iostream librarys. VC++ chooses the right version itself but now there is a conflict since I build something in that requires different iostream versions.
I put some png reading code in my previous well working project. I used the same code in another project without any trouble. But last time it was an MFC application and now it is a simple VC++ win32 application project.
Maybe the way I linked the library caused some trouble too. I had to use that methode:
extern "C" <br />
{<br />
#include "png.h"<br />
#include "pngconf.h"<br />
}
other includes are
#include "ddraw.h"<br />
#include "windows.h" <br />
#include "windowsx.h"<br />
#include "mmsystem.h"<br />
#include "iostream.h"<br />
#include "conio.h"<br />
#include "stdlib.h"<br />
#include "malloc.h"<br />
#include "memory.h"<br />
#include "string.h"<br />
#include "stdarg.h"<br />
#include "stdio.h"<br />
#include "math.h"<br />
#include "io.h"<br />
#include "fcntl.h"
How can I get rid of this annoying link errors? Every help is welcome.

MSVCRT is a release version (MSVCRTD is the debug version)
LIBCD is a debug version (LIBC is the release version)
so, it looks like you're mixing release and debug versions of your app and LibPng. make sure you link debug to debug libraries and release to release.

I just tried something and could fix the problem for the moment.
I changed the compiler argument from /MLd to /MDd for debugging and /ML to /MD for release. Now I only got a last warning for MSVCRT.lib (only debug mode):
LINK : warning LNK4098: Standard library "MSVCRT" is in conflict with another library; /NODEFAULT:Library used
(sorry, I have to translate all messages since I did not use the englisch localisation, so the warning can look different from the one you get)

In the properties of your project, try to specify libcd.lib (and perhaps libc.lib as well) in the field entitled Ignore Specific Library, in the tab Linker > Input.

Hi everybody!!
I have to call a function "PutData()" each :
- 2 seconds.
- Every time OnDraw() is called (event)
For that I must use "WaitForMultipleObjects" to call PutData() every time one of the two events above happens.
My problem is how can I synchronize (I think I need a handler as I've seen in MSDN) the event that means that OnDraw() has been called with "WaitForMultipleObjects"???
Thanks you very much.
