how to convert bitmap in bytes code
|
|
|
|
|
GetObject[^]
The BITMAP[^]structure has a pointer to the bitmap bytes, once GetObject has filled it in. If it does not work, you need a DIBSection, create one and copy your image onto it, then you can pass that HBITMAP to GetObject, or if you called CreateDIBSection[^]yourself, you'll already have a pointer to the bytes.

Use the function GetBitmapBits() which returns the the bits in an Byte array
or u can read a bitmap like any other ordinary file.

I have a problem in VC++.
" I have a Bitmap in the form of Electric Circuit and i did programming for it when current flowing through it it shows the calculated current from V=IR formula,in this i took the volatge as random value after one second change his value and with this all the current that flows throgh the circuit changed his value from the above formula.
But now i want that when current exceeds from some limited value the Resister coming in the remaining circuit change his color and again reset when current
kindly guide me.
Best wishes.

I would hazard a guess that it's possible using the IWebBrowser2 interface but have never tried.

Hi, I'm new to embedded visual C++ 3.0. Does anyone knows how to add a Windows Media Player (video player) object with controls into the project using Dialog base? Many thanks!

I want stop program in a CMainFrame:: function but get erro message, "Application Error - The exception Breakpoint" why?
void CMainFrame::OnUpdateprogram()
{
....
....
exit();
}

|

It is not valid to exit from an MFC program in this manner from within the MainFrame window. You should post yourself a WM_CLOSE or else use PostQuitMessage() instead.

Thanks! BTW, wich one is nomaly using, what are they differenct?

PostQuitMessage usually works if your thread has a message queue but does not have a window. You definitely have a window, so I would post the WM_CLOSE instead.
PostMessage(WM_CLOSE);
Or you can use the sample code from MSDN:
AfxGetMainWnd()->PostMessage(WM_CLOSE, 0, 0);<br />

Just curious - are you using a CWebBrowserCtrl expressly for the purpose of getting at the page's HTML?

actually I am having the CWebBrowser go to a website, and then select all the information on the website and then put all the information in a text file, excluding pictures and links. but now I would like to add getting the page source from the website too, there is some hidden data I would like to automatically retrieve, like the links url

If you aren't using the CWebBrowserCtrl to display the page to the user, you may want to see this[^] article.

Ok, so what's your question? Is this a console or GUI application?

One way to do this is to do in the C style by using getch() function to enter the charater. getch() function do not display character on the screen.
char passwd[15];
int i=-1;
printf("Enter Password:");
do
{
passwd[++i] = getch();
} while(passwd[i] != 13);
passwd[i] = '\0';
printf("\npassword is %s\n",passwd);
13 is the ascii code for the return key. Hope it will work

I'm attempting to write a small tool that automatically calls a function on start-up...but my problem is I want the dialog window so be displayed first. If I call the function from the OnInitDialog() it executes it before the window is displayed.
What is the easiest way around this?
