Hello,

How do I delete multiple elements from collection (array) at once?

I'd like to do that by index.

For example, I want to delete elements with indexes 1, 2, 3 and 4.

If I delete element at index 1, all elements and their indexes will be shifted. That's the problem. I need to delete the elements in compact index section, like: 1,2,3,4 or 7,8,9,10.

Iterate through the collection and add the elements you need to delete to another collection. Then iterate over the other collection, calling Remove on the first collection. This is because you'll get a runtime exception if you delete items from the collection on which you are iterating on.

This is the easiest way (pseudocode):

<br />
for(Int32 i = col.Count - 1; i >=0; i--)<br />
   if (ShouldRemove(i))<br />
      col.Remove[i];<br />

This way, the lower collection elements are not affected by the deletions of the higher indexes.

Is the functionality of these cool looking Docking Windows integrated in the .NET Framework 2.0?
I wonder why it is used in the MSDN Library and in the Visual Studio 2005 (MSDN Library and Visual Studio 2005) while I didn't find it as a usable component of framework 2.0. Also this way of arranging all the tool windows looks very nice (example)but this doesn't seem to be available either.
I looked through the net and found several self-made docking panels but I'm still searching for the original ones made by Microsoft as used in Visual Studio. Are they available by some ways or not?

Hi,

i am trying to add a com component in C# but the component is not been able to add, i.e. when i try to add, following error is displayed

"Add reference: error adding reference to project"
for additional info, i have a sample sdk that is using the component it is actually developed under VC 6.0 and is using .idl files

is it possible to use this component in C# if possible how,

i am also trying to add the same component in VC(managed)windows component but the problem is still the same

Will some body help me, i will be very thankfull.

Hello All,

I am tring to make new table styl with check box columne but the column not apper please see the my code below.

Looks good. Check that the name of the DataTable really has the name "Billing_CheckBox" and that the corresponding column has the name "Bill_Checkbox".
I assume you use a DataTable otherwise the MappingName of the table style is completely wrong.

Also make sure The Data Source Property is not readonly. i.e. it should have both get and set.

Seems the problem is in CrystalDecisions.Shared which is an imported dll in Visual Studio.
Is there any way I can read this dll as I donot have the source code.

A crude way is to simply iterate through the 65535 possible ports and trying to opening each one of them. The System.Net namespace and the System.Net.Tcp namespace can help you do this.

AFAIK, there is no way you can identify the service running on a port. The best you can do is guess based on the list of well known ports (HTTP on port 80, for example).

AFAIK, not in the framework, and I find nothing about it in MSDN.

I think that you have to look for an third party class. Google[^] is your friend.

hi to all,

i made a user control, and i was working in design mode, i have this exception :

An unhandled exception of type 'System.StackOverflowException'
occurred in mscorlib.dll

after this my solution was closed and when i try to reopen it visual studio prompt me the screen debbuger, i choose to open the debbuger but i can not work with my solution no more because when i close the debugger the solution closes with the debugger

any help please

You have to detach the debugger from the process before you close it, or it will also close the process it is debugging.
