I understand now.
So how will I get thet request to work then will something similar to:

but this brings back the error 'Cannot Call BinaryRead' relating to the line bolded out above.
I added comments of what i think is going on if wrong please put me right.

You have to check the documentation for the component to see in what order it does things. Perhaps you have to save the file before you can access the Form collection.
Some components parse the request when the component object is created, others parse the request when the files are saved.

I have a ActiveX component created in VB6, (where it works fine!). But when I implement the ActiveX component into VS.NET web application, on the client side, the methods(in the Active X) dont function as they should. Is there anything I have to do to my activeX before I implement it into VS.NET??

Hi there,
To host an ActiveX control on a web page .aspx, you simply use the object tag, and what you might need to do is to create a cab file for your ActiveX control in case it can be downloaded to the client machine if it is not yet installed at the client side. Because you don't talk about what your function does, so IMO you might want to check some thing related to the permission, path, ... which can cause the control not to run properly.

My method is based on CAPICOM.
When the ActiveX is plased inside the .net web page the method is no loger abel to load a certificate.
So I agree with you that there is probably something wrong with my permissions.

Hello everyone:
I have a problem that have confused me several days,here is the senario:
Some times user may accidently close a page via which some operation may have been submitted to the database,in that case we can use a confirmation msgbox to avoid that.
However,if the user really want to close that window ,all the data that have been submit to the database will be no use at all.of course,we can use a sever side code to solve this problem.
what i dont know is when the user clicks "yes" (which means he really want to close the page)in the client side ,how can we triggle a server side code to clean all the data that has just been submit to the database?and after that how can we close the page?
is there any one who can give me some suggestion? Thank you in advance!

I am developing an application in jsp and using oracle 9i as backend . i have a page that's asking for input for a field called as code and it has a serach icon which takes the page to next page whcih shows all the values for that code to be entered . i want a facility such that a user is able to select the code and when user clicks on that code in this current page it should take that clicked value to the previuos page and closes that window . how can i write this script & how do i provide this facility in my application . please help thanks for any help .

It depends on the MSWord version and components that you have installed but if the file is saved as Word HTML you can choose to view the source code by selecting the menu "View > Source HTML Code".
But, why don't you open the document with any other editor (notepad)?

i think i dont explain it well , i know i can see it with View menu , but i wana process this word document , so i must first process it , i can do it also , after processing , some sentence of this text change to some links , and some of them not !!! , THEN AFTER THESE PROCESS I WANA SHOW IT IN ASP FORM , but with paragraph , titrs , headers , footer !! how can i do this ???

I am developing a Wep application. The used browser is IE 6.0. I encountered the following problem:
When I write about 10 variables into the cookie of the client browser, a session variable of the server cookie is overwritten. In other words, the session variable is invalidated. When I write less than the number of variables, it is okey!!!
Can you explain this problem for me? How can I fix that?

Looks like the cookies produced by your application exceed the cookie limitation of Microsoft IEs. You can take a look at this document for more information:

You might also be interested in the Fiddler[^] tool which you can use to inspect cookie data in the Http stream.

i need to edit webpage source files
coding of some of them does not correspond with my system settings (codepage for non-unicode programs) and many times they are just includes with unspecified code page at all
i want simple text editor can select codepage of edited text
if i will see wrong characters i will just select correct codepage - just like into web browser (unfortunately there just read only, and of course without complete source visibility)
i do not want buy something like front page
open office knows work with codepage just in plain html files, i need to edit also php scripts

Let's say I have a table like this:

Hi there,
There are many ways to get reference to the checkbox collection, then you can iterate the list to disable all the items. Below is just one of them, because all the checkboxes you want to disable have different names and ids but have the same the prefix, so you first get all the checkboxes on the form, then you can do the filtering:
