Hi,
Does anyone knows how to create a setup package that will install a custom font into the clients windows\fonts directory without prompting him.
Some People succeed because they are Destined to, but most people succeed because they are Determined to

the default property of font folder is that if you copy any font it automatically installs it. so you just need to add the font in your setup project and give it destination to windows\font folder and it will be installed

I have the following problem:
I have a project ActiveX Document (vbd) developed in vb and wanted to develop it in NET.
Everywhere I have read that this is not possible.
Somebody could help me?

VB.NET doesn't build ActiveX documents or binaries.
You'll have to keep using VB6 if you want to continue the project. You'll have to scrap it and start from scratch if you want to do something equivilent in VB.NET or C#. Though, the user will have to have the .NET Framework installed on their machines if they want to use your component.

Drop the original project. Rewrite the entire project in something equivilent in the .NET Framework.

There isn't any one project that replaces an ActiveX project. What you use depends on what your doing. It could be limited to client-side JavaScript, a Web Control, a mixture of both.
The only language in the .NET Framework that still targets ActiveX is C++.

Try
strSQL = strSQL & " Values( " & strIpAddress & ", " & Host.HostName & " , " & Date.Now & " );"
You're trying to pass constant strings into the table.
This is assuming that your question is poorly worded, and you're not really having trouble connecting to Access. Either way, this is a problem in your code.

Ok easy one for y'all, but Im stumped. I have 2 listboxes. First listbox is populated with the 12 months and when double clicked on a month, it needs to move to the other listbox. The second listbox is initially blank.
Any ideas??

Remove it from the items collection on one, and add it to the other.

1st Listbox has a collection of months. When double clicked on a month it moves to the 2nd Listbox. I would assume that I need to have it move back to the 1st listbox when double clicked as well.

Is there a way to find a window assosiated to a thread?
I have tried to use the FindWindow API but it returns a very long number.
can anyone help...
Basically I am trying to extract a value from a ComboBox control which is on another application window.

Is it possible to create any kind of script page that would serve as a tunneling application on a server? ASP/PHP or a .NET Webservice? Then use a windows application to perform the tunneling, etc...just like http-tunnel and hopster.
