Hi,
Having major issues trying to sort out an uploading problem. I need to be able to throttle and set a limit to the speed at which a file upload happens. I'm actually developing a program in VB6 but have been told it's impossible to throttle uploads in VB6 and I would need to do it in C# and make a DLL or something. Anyone know how?!

Why would you use asp instead of ASP.NET ?
The best thing here would be to talk to a potential client, I'm sure if you told them you want to develop something and you're willing to hear their input, they'd be more than pleased to offer it.

yea it is a warning that i have in my server , and this is a note that how this warning appeared :

I found the way to deny this warning and that is adding my website to TRUSTED SITES in IE.
BUT when i use this source on MY SERVER ,MY SERVER is WINDOWS SERVER 2003, it is another warning like below:
safety setting on this computer prohibit accessing a data source on another domain.
I can solve this problem with adding it to TRUSTED SITES , but i have many clients , AND OF COURSE I CANT DO THIS FOR ALL MY CLIENTS!!!
how can i solve this problem ??

hi,
i am developing a multimedia web site using asp.net and C#. i need to play a song on the web without downloading or buffering it in the client side.it will be real time streaming and playing. there will be some buttons like "play", "Next" and a progress bar below the song list with real time interactivity.

Ok...
It's like this. I have a menu called Coporate Profile. Under the menu, there is a submenu contain 'Asia', 'Europe' and 'North America'. When I moveover my cursor 'Corporate Profile', it will show the submenu. But this only work when the page is show without any server round trips been done or the page get refresh. If I done a server round trip, the submenu will not appear when the cursor is move over. Can help me to find out what goes wrong?

From where are you accessing the database? Javascript in the browser? Server side (ASP) code?

I've a friend with a strange problem: any time he tries to create an object - either a COM object or an intrinsic object such as Scripting.Dictionary, the ASP engine barfs and says it can't create the object. His setup is a new XP isntall (he assures me) but something is obviously awry. The funny thing is that objects can be created inside .vbs files - just not within ASP pages.
All mappings are correct, permissions are standard, out-of-the-box. It's XP Pro.
Anyone come across this before?

Hi,
I am developing a toolbar for the Internet Explorer. What I want to do is, to get the data as a stream of web page or web file using the the IE itself. Is there a possibility I can give the IE a link and receive the web data? It should not navigate to the file itself.

Hi,
I am programming in Java (Websphere). I have a popup (jsp using javascript, html and css style) and I want to print all the contains of the popup by using the right clic of the mouse-> menu print.
The thing is that I have a scroll list (with the scroll that ables to see all the list)
and when I print I cannot see the bottom of it, but only what you can see on the screen.
How can I force it to print all the data of the popup?

NB: I saw on another jsp using the struts tags that it worked out well. Is there any connection between the struts tag??

(Note:: I have several alert windows showing the value being returned, but the page does not refresh with the new value IN the drop down list...)
