For this, IMO, you might set the client browser will refresh itseft after an interval time , and also should have a look at AJAX technology about how to refresh a part of webpage to increase performance.

What gets me is that I'm using this in other pages on the same server but in other domains and it's working fine. Any suggestions?

"GET" ought to work just fine. I don't have a good answer, but you might want to check for restrictions on the server itself (.htaccess settings, etc.).
BTW: Googling the error you recieved turns up a lot of stuff about misconfigured IIS... so perhaps it boils down to IIS not recognizing .php files as dynamic.

What happens is this:
:: The files FunctionOne.inc and FunctionTwo.inc are loaded and merged into the code to form the complete source.
:: The complete source is compiled.
:: The code is executed.
As the condititon in the If statement is False, the code between Else and End If is run.

Hi..I'm currently learning a new language of C# web application which requires me to design a web page just like the link below:
(www.nyp.edu.sg)
.But my problem is that if i wants to design a menu page just like which i have a navigator bar on top/side, when i on the menu page i can select/click on the navigator bar and goes straight to the adduser page. I'm currently using C# web application program to do. So now i not too sure how the menu page can be done. But i try using .ascx to design my menu page but its not workable.. Is there any simple way which i can design just user menu page (on the navigator bar i have adduser, deleteuser & etc..) Anyone who has done it before mind sharing with me as i'm using C# to design my website.. Thanks for your help...

hi dotnethead, thanks for your reply. But currently i'm only allow to use Mircosoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 to do my web page. Is there any way that i can do it using 2003 program.. Or other methods which i can easily create a navigation bar? Thanks!!

I've done a site wide navigation control before using a User Control. A User Control is just like any other control on your page (ei, button, textbox, checkbox, etc.) but it is one that you write yourself. Once it is written you can include it in any page on your site. So I have a div on my page
now How can I put two more divs inside "containter" side by side, giving me a 2 column page? What is the best method (i.e. css) to do this with divs and so it shows up (semi) the same in ie and firefox?

If IE and Fx displays the page differently, it's almost always Fx that displays it correctly.
Use a more recent doctype. Just version 4.01 should make a noticable improvement.

or at least just selects all

IMO, just simple getting the selected text from the textbox control and do paste the selected text into clipboard by using this statement

Just a suggestion, but IMO it's not the best 
save the page's content into a hidden field before generating the page. Then, when user clicks on the button, just copy the value of the hidden field to the clipboard.
Hope it gives u an idea...

If you want a cross-browser implementation, may I suggest reading the innerHTML property of document.body and using regular expressions to remove any tags.

Found this on the web. It copies the selection in a drop-down to the clipboard. Could probably be modified to copy other text on the page:

 Hello, I am new to this forum.
sorry i got a bit carried away and did not get a chance to post my question the first time. I am new to programming. I am trying to build an ASP form.
So far I was being successful. Until I came across checkboxes.
When I check a checkbox in my form it sends the information to ms access and the checkbox gets checked. but when I try to access the data in my Update form, all my checkboxes are empty. I did an <% = rsGuestbook("standard") %>
after the " just to be sure that the checkbox was checked when it checked it shows True and when is not it shows False.
How can I get the checkbox to show checked in my Update Page?
