Which System.License library are you speaking of? AFAIK, there is no such library in the .NET framework class library.

I know its in System.ComponentModel but its my mistak,
Thanks for your reply

There's no License class in the System namespace. There is in the System.ComponentModel namespace, but this is used for DesignTime and Runtime licensing of controls used on forms, not for licensing an entire application.

Thanks for your reply,
So, is there another way to check validate my prodecut license and what is the standard form of the license key
|
|
|
|

There is no standard for this. There is no standard form of a license key. This is done using 3rd party libraries or your own concoction. No, I don't have any examples. Your best bet is to Google for something like "license software developer"[^], and start doing a bunch of research to find out what's going to meet your needs.

Hi,
I'm not much familiar with Foxpro files. I'm just about to read a bunch of dbf files. The problem is that I can open some of them in visual studio.net, but when trying to open the rest, I encounter the following error:
External table is not in the expected format. (Error 3274)
The format of the table has changed since it was linked. Link the table again, and then retry the operation.
I can't even open those *.mdf files in the Microsoft Access because of the same error that occures. Do you know why it is like this, and how I can solve it?
Thanks in advance

this error ussually because the database link in foxpro in broken.
u can to to connect to indivudual table instead of database.. use use the foxpro table driver in ODBC there..

Is there a possible way to user print merge in C#? This is my problem we are having some network issues and our jobs are not running properly, the hang up is from our parent company. This is causing headaches for me because the SQL job doesnt run hence no data to merge.
I know how to call the data I need and mold it. I need a way to be able to print merge everything in this possible dataset.
Any ideas??
Thanks

Hi to all,
I want to ask how to transfer all inputs from a C# program to the hyperterminal.. thanks a lot!!

HyperTerminal doesn't expose an API or object model. You'd have to "stuff the keyboard" to put anything into it's window. A problematic method at best.
What are you really trying to do with this?

You will have to hook into the program and investigate the invidual controls.
Its pretty easy but, you'll have to learn that on your own. Many people might use the advice for the dark side, young patawan.
I'll give you a hint: It has to do with
SetWindowText
You must call an API and use C++ calls only
You on your own.

Do you mean the filename of the file you selected in the file dialog?
Why not use the FileName property?

hello..
i need to save videos of all available extensions '.avi' '.wmv'... etc
i already have the videos in a folder is there a way to copy them .
thank you...

You need to save them? Or copy existing files? You can copy files using System.IO.File class and the various static methods contained within it. For saving files, you have a number of options available to you (though nothing in the .NET framework class library). You could probably use the Window Media SDK or perhaps even the Managed DirectX dlls. Or, try the DirectShow managed wrapper available on CodeProject.

Or just File.Copy() since he's not going to modify the files.

Hello!
I working on a project to import c++ openCV into c#.
The problem is...this:
unsafe private static extern int function1(byte* bitmap, string haarclassifikator);
thats my call to an external dll file, the first parameter MUST be a pointer to a bitmap in memory.
unsafe<br />
{<br />
byte* bitmappointer = (byte*)Convert.ToByte(MyImage);<br />
function1(bitmappointer, classificator);<br />
}
doestn work.
my question: how can i convert from a bitmap object to a pointer?
|
|
|
|
|
Forgotten one thing:
the code compiles, but:
Unable to cast object of type 'System.Drawing.Bitmap' to type 'System.IConvertible'.
|
|
|
|
|
Try the following code
public void CallExternalMethod(Bitmap map)<br />
{<br />
System.IO.MemoryStream stream = new System.IO.MemoryStream();<br />
map.Save(stream, System.Drawing.Imaging.ImageFormat.Bmp);<br />
byte[] rawBytes = stream.GetBuffer();<br />
<br />
unsafe <br />
{<br />
fixed (byte* rawPointer = rawBytes)<br />
{<br />
function1(rawPointer, classificator);<br />
}<br />
}<br />
}<br />
