You need to create an ImageList object. Add images to this and then pass its reference to your ListView. You can create a large (typically 32x32) and small (typically 16x16) ImageLists and assign them both if you want. It'll use the large ImageList for the Icon view and the small one for the Details/Report view. You can also just use one ImageList for both large and small if you want, and the images won't change size in the list.
lstDSNode_Fill.LargeImageList = myLargeImageList<br />
lstDSNode_Fill.SmallImageList = mySmallImageList
You can then assign an image to your ListViewItem by giving it an image index.
mItem.ImageIndex = 0 'Assigned 1st image in list.
One more thing. The following bit of code that you had is inefficient. There is no point in calling AddRange() if you're always only going to add 1 item. Plus you're allocating an array here every time.
.Items.AddRange(New ListViewItem() {mItem})
I suggest that you change it to the following.
.Items.Add(mItem)

Hi from Sydney
Anyone know if you can declare a "local static variables" value to a Public variable and preserve the Public variables contents after exiting the private sub?
I hope this sounds right? Thanks...

I'm assuming by "VB MACRO" you mean VBScript. In that case, click[^].

I guess its not script. But please clarify me onething. Is the code which we write in outlook macros (Microsoft office outlook objects-ThisOutlookSession) is VB Script ?

Inside Outlook (not Outlook Express!), and all the Office applications for that matter, the language is Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), not VBScript. The two languages are closely related, but there are differences between them.
If you wanted to run an external application, you'd have to have the Windows Scripting Host do it for you. In your VBA Code Editor, go to Tools, the References (I think!), and set a reference to "Windows Script Host Object Model". The you can write code like this to get an external app to run:
Dim ws As New WshShell
ws.Run("notepad", 7, True)

Hi!
I'm writing a program that uses a drawlines method to plot a series of xy point in a PointF Array. I have checked the points in the array and they are all fone, but as soon as I try to plot, the X coordinate gives an overflow error. {PointFArray.X = 1.#INF}. What could be the problem?
Any help or advice would be much appreciated!
Thanks

I probably have missed what you're trying to do, but isn't this built into Windows already?

There a couple of problems with this.
First, what's stopping someone from just "Ending" your app when it starts? Nothing...
Second, there is no increase in security that your app could possibly offer on PPC. So what's the point?

en....i would like to creat a log-in page in pocket pc for users, but i do not know when the user first time log-in, he needs to creat a new acount,so my question is how to store the information...?

Storing the information is the easy part. Getting this to work like a Login on the full-sized version of Windows is the near-impossible part. Since Windows CE doesn't implement the security you find in full-sized Windows, you really have no use for a login. Great, so the person can login and get past your password thingy. You can't provide secured access to any of the resources on the machine and can't implement any kind of profile so each user can save their own settings. Everyone will be using the same profile, so what one user changes, the other users see.
So I ask you again, what's the point?

I am developing a simple Recipe Manager. I know how to be able to select an item in a listbox and display other relevant information using a sortedlist. Could you do the same with an arraylist? With the sorted list I loop through every dictionary entry in the sortedlist and add the key to the listbox. If you need code examples on how I was getting the info our for the sorted list, let me know and I'll post it as well as the listbox selected index. Just want to be able to have 2 different recipes have the same "Title". Thanks!

I am using a Recipe object with title, ingredients, and instructions attributes if that helps.
