Yes, the solution works in non-split mainframe, but my program layout of whole frame is like ' |- ' symbol(two panes, the right one contains top and bottom sub pane), and I tried your solution that can hide the horizontal scroll bar in CFormView(right-top subpane), not vertical scroll bar in CFormView and CTreeView(left pane). Any idea? plus, the solution for CTreeView,CEditView?
Thank you in advance!

ShellExecute() on Winzip.exe, and read winzip.exe command line doc to know its waiting parameters for such an action...

Thanks for your reply
Could you please provide a sample code for this.
Thanks in advance

see here[^]
ShellExecute(NULL, "open", "C:\Program files\Winzip\winzip32.exe", "myfile.doc myoutput.zip", NULL, NULL);
this line is what i guess, but i'm not sure how the winzip command line works... read first how it waits for the parameter, and if it is winzip32.exe to call, etc...

Hello.
There is another way, if you would like to include the zipping code in your software. Then you will maintain full control over what's happening, and you won't have to rely on a (hopefully) installed Winzip.
Have a look at info-zip.
AFAIK, both WinZip and java.util.zip is based on info-zip, so there are no compatibility issues. Info-zip is free.
I'm using it in one of my applications and I've seen no problems what so ever.

I am having problems executing a project with WRAPI, I am using Visual
Studio 2005, a Windows XP SP2 (32 bit) machine, and I installed Win
DDK "windows xp sp1 ddk" (2600.1106).
I added the WrapiTest.cpp file from the WRAPI site into a new MFC project, copied WRAPI.dll
and WRAPI.lib into the project's folder, added #pragma comment(lib,
"WRAPI.lib"),
and added C:\WINDDK\2600.1106\src\network\ndis\ndisuio\sys as an
additional library in my project settings (in that folder resides
nuiouser.h).
The project compiles just fine but at execution I am getting error
"This application has failed to start because MFC42D.DLL was not
found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." I am
pretty sure this error connects with my project's settings: General ->
Use of MFC -> Use MFC in a share DLL and Settings -> C/C++ -> Code
Generation -> Runtime Library -> Multi-threaded Debug DLL (/MDd).
I just don't understand what the WRAPI site means with:
MSVCRT.dll (Multithreaded Debug and Release versions of the standard
C-runtime library)
MFC42.dll (Multithreaded Debug and Release versions of the MFC runtime library)
I downloaded this dll's and copied into my project's folder and then
became other errors so I undid this.
Google didnt help me that much, so any Feedback in more than welcome.
Is there another way to set up a WLAN (also AdHoc) programatically?
Thanks.

Is this file present on the target machine?

No, it wasn't, so I downloaded it, and then the same error came, but for MSVCRT.dll, so I downloaded it too, but then became error "The ordinal 5077 could not be located in the dynamic link library MFC42D.DLL"

You are trying to distribute a debug version of your program on a machine that does not have Visual Studio installed. Do you really want to do this? If not, compile a release version and distribute that instead.

I was compiling the a release, and executing that build in my own machine with VS 2005, thus it was weird that it was asking for a "D" dll.
I created my own class that talks to NDISUIO driver, because I couldnt use WRAPI, but thank you anyway for your help.

I have created a CRebar control and added several toolbars and dialog bars to it. The rebar control seems to maximize the first toolbar so that the rebar fits across the screen. Is there a way to make it minimize all toolbar controls so that the rebar is "left justified"?
I would appreciate any suggestions!
Thanks!

Since the others answered the the thread reference, I will briefly answer this. yes, absolutely. I've run threads from Windows 2k forward in massive quantities from consoles to windows GUI apps. As mentioned it is the dll reference.
Just remember there are issues with threads, reentrant code, blocking, race conditions, etc.

_beginthread and _beginthreadex are generally better then using CreateThread - You can get into trouble using CRT functions from a thread created using the CreateThread API. See here.
