Is it HardDiskVolume0 instead?

You can get more information about the error by checking status information returned in IoStatusBlock.

for enable or disable Scrollbar use
EnableScrollBar( SB_BOTH,ESB_DISABLE_BOTH);
and I think for show or hide use
ShowScrollBar(SB_BOTH,FALSE);
and you have splitter or you want to create splitter

can a FOr loop be incremented twice at a time?
such as for(i=1; i<=100;i+2)..
as i need to have only odd numbers. Is it correct?

chaitanya22 wrote: such as for(i=1; i<=100;i+2)..
should be :
for(int i=1; i<100; i+=2){}

Hello chaitanya
for(inintializer;condition;incrementer)
Here in place of incrementer you can put any statement regards of assigment statement.
It is not require that you use only a variable that is use in initializer place. C design a very rich for loop as you never seen before.

You can even have multiple items in your loop, such as:
for (int i = 2, j = 3; i < 5 && j < 10; i++, j+=3)

or...
int b=0,c=0,q=60,_=q;for(float i=-20,o,O=0,l=0,j,p;j=O*O,p=l*l,
(!_--|(j+p>4)?fputc(b?q+(_/3):10,(i+=!b,p=j=O=l=0,c++,stdout)),
_=q:l=2*O*l+i/20,O=j-p+o),b=c%q,c<2400;o=-2+b*.05);

If you do not want to make your for loop look anything other than the ordinary, but still want to skip processing the evens, use the continue keyword...
for( i = 1; i <= 100; i++ )<br />
{<br />
if( i % 2 == 0 ) continue;<br />
}

While this code works, it might not be as intuitive, and more importantly, efficient as:
for (int i = 0; i < 100; i += 2)<br />
{<br />
}
Might not be important for small loops, but an extra if and % op can add up in big loops.

Hi!
My app used to work fine on another computer when I was using VS2k3 but since I've been using VS2k5-MFC8 my app just won't start!
I used Dependency Walker to see what was going on and I got this error:
Error: The Side-by-Side configuration information in "c:\myapp.EXE"
I did put all the required files in the folder:
mfc80.dll
mfc80u.dll
mfcm80.dll
mfcm80u.dll
msvcr80.dll
I think this is related to the new manifest file used by Windows to know which dll version your app is using but right now I'm really stuck. I also tried to statically link to MFC with no luck.
Anyone can help me?

In your Microsoft Visual Studio 8\SDK\v2.0\Bootstrapper\Packages\vcredist_x86 folder, there should be a file called vcredist_x86.exe. Run it on the other machine.

Create a file called "myapp.exe.local" in the same dir as myapp.exe. That will make the DLL loader look in that directory first.
(On second thought, I don't know if the .local file overrides the SxS system. Try it and see)

need general knowledges of barcode.
1) do all countries in the world prefer one special barcode format? if yes, what is that?
2) do all shops and factories in one specified country prefer one special barcode format? if yes, what is that?
3) can barcode readers (i.e. used in shops) read multiple barcode formats?
thx

While the UPC is the most popular, the government uses Code 39, books and periodicals use EAN-13, shipping cartons use Code 128 or Interleaved 2 of 5, PDF417 and DataMatrix are used when damage is a possibility.
includeh10 wrote: 3) can barcode readers (i.e. used in shops) read multiple barcode formats?
Yes, hence the name "barcode reader" versus "UPC reader."
