You are looking for Class Library
Q:What does the derived class in C# tell to it's parent?
A:All your base are belong to us!
|
|
|
|
|
on your solution just add a new project as a Class Library not as a windows application.. the output of this would be a .dll

You must allow IIS to write to that folder...

You have to give explicit permissions to the ASPNET account that your site is running under. Anonymous just wont do it.

When you right-click the folder your site is in, there should be a Security tab. If not, you might have simple file sharing turned on. Open MyComputer, click the Tools menu, Folder Options. Click on the View tab in the dialog that comes up. In the Advanced Settings box, scroll down to the bottom of the list. You'll find "Use simple file sharing (Recommended)", turn it off.

I'm trying to display a full page of text and scan through the words one at a time by highliting the word. (Similar to the way spell check highlits a whole word at a time). I will need to be able to control the speed of the scan. I'm trying to teach my son to read faster.
Any ideas woudl be a big help.
Thanks

Have you tryed something and it didn't work?
Start something and then ask when you have a speciffic question.
I don't think anybody here will develop a program logic for you...

Hi guys!
i'm trying to find a way to display a tooltip containing the item pointed to in the combobox. i'm still new to vb .net so i'd really appreciate the help.
thanks
|
|
|
|
|
Not easily. The ComboBox doesn't expose one critical method to make this work, ItemFrommPoint . Without that, there is no way to know which item the mouse is hovering over so you can change the ToolTip text to match.
There are impelementations out there that support this, but all the ones I've found were written in C++/MFC. There are also vendors selling .NET controls that support this, such as ComponentOne.

My Dear
I already searched a lot but didnt find any link or docmentation available on the net.
That is why I have put this question here so what i need is some documentation which completely or partially elaborate the working of flash into vb.net windows forms.
thanks anyway.

please help me on how to create optional text boxes. For example, i have a fault logger database in MS access and everyday i have different number of faults. The format is like this:
Fault1: Pallet Overhang
Fault2: Manual operation
Fault3: Film Break
if i will put too many text boxes for faults, it will consume spaces. I try to use combox box but it will end up the same as my problem in text boxes. How will i do optional text or combo box if i will input more than 3 faults?
tnx.

' Add a TextBox as the second element of a control array.
Load Text1(1)
' Set the location below the first TextBox.
Text1(1).Move Text1(0).Left + Text1(0).Width, Text1(0).Top
' Make the new TextBox visible

Hi,
I am trying to read an existing Binary Registry file, replace some string then write to a new registry file. However, I am not sure how to replace the text in a binary file. This example make an identical copy of the original. could someone tell me what I need to do to manipulate the tring that is written to the target file?
Public Function Sample()
Dim s1 = New FileStream("SrcFile.reg", FileMode.Open, FileAccess.Read)
Dim s2 = New FileStream("c:\TgtFile.reg", FileMode.CreateNew, FileAccess.Write)
Dim br = New BinaryReader(s1)
Dim bw = New BinaryWriter(s2)
Dim byteRead As Byte
Dim j As Integer
For j = 0 To br.BaseStream.Length() - 1
byteRead = br.ReadByte
bw.Write(byteRead)
Next
br.Close()
bw.Close()
End Function
Thanks,
Zenly.

I have written an application which screen scrapes from web pages, however some of those web pages (third-party) generate Javascript errors, when the Internet Explorer Script Error dialog is diaplyed, all interaction with the web site is suspended pending acknowledgement of the dialog. I can get a handle to the dialog box but and send it a CLOSE event, however all that does is reduce te dialog to a title bar, what I want to know is, does anyone know how to get hold of the buttons inside the dialog box and click one programatically.

You tried to set the value of CanPlay to True. Since CanPlay is a ReadOnly property, you can't set it.
