The problem is, i'm giving permissions on the clients.
I've found this link Common Issue: Security Exceptions
It might help, for those guys that facing the same problem

I've found the problem - my assembly calls web-method and loads image from another host.
I suppose i should write something to web.config on that very server. can you say what?
Also what's the purpose of .Assert(), when i do this:new SecurityPermission(SecurityPermissionFlag.AllFlags).Assert();
before the method that loads image, i get this kind of exception:
"System.Security.SecurityException: Request for the permission of type System.Security.Permissions.SecurityPermission...
Can the user somehow allow this activitiy for this particular app? like saying "Allow this app to do this un-secure activity? Yes\No", or i should always
create the Code group for this assembly?

Hi,
how i can read/write from/into the serial port with c++.Net, i use vc++.Net 2003.
|
|
|
|
|
The .Net Framework 1.1 doesn't directly support the serial port (It is now supported in version 2.0). You will have to use IJW, P/Invoke or a combination of the two. I believe there are some articles on Code Project that deal with this issue.

In my app, many threads are created by BeingInvoke now. As all these threads are managed by ThreadPool, I can not get info about these backgroud threads.
So I decided to create a thread manager of my own. In this case all the thread will not be run backgroud. What should I be careful with?
Thank you for your advice!

I have read several articals and started to write my own code.
As I want to keep in track with all the handlers of my threads so as to Abort them when necessary. How to inform my thread manager to remove the handler form thread queue before a thread is sure to finish.
I can pass a delegate to every thread as that the thread can call it just before its end. Are there any other better methods?
Thank you

I have read the article on the XML editor, and although this uses regular expressions to define tokens, I am wondering if there is a easy way to use Lex and Yacc with .NET 2? I am using VC++ and the 2005 IDE. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks in advance.

Is there a .NET framework equivalent of lists, vectors, maps, etc. in the C++ standard library?

There are quite a lot of different collections, like ArrayList, HashTable, Queue, SortedList, Stack, HybridDictionary, ListDictionary, OrderedDictionary, StringCollection, StringDIctionary, etc., and base classes to easily make specialized collections yourself.
If you use framework 2.0 you also have strongly typed collections like List<T>, Dictionary<T,T>, LinkedList<T>, Queue<T>, SortedDictionary<T>, SortedList<T,T>, Stack<T>, etc.

I have an MDI Parent form with some toolbars docked to all four sides. I found the MDIClient control in its Controls collections, then I removed it and replaced it with a SplitContainer, placing the MDIClient control in Panel1. In Panel2, I placed another control. The SplitContainer is oriented so that Panel1 is above Panel2, so it appears as though the MDIClient control is now above the control in Panel2 (just like VS2005 appears with one form docked at the bottom).
My problem is this:
The SplitContainer appears to be partially hidden by the toolbars that were already on the MDI Parent form.
Any suggestions/ideas???

If you're using VS 2003 it isn't too hard, but if you've upgraded to VS 2005 you can use the Publish feature to create the installation.
Try this link if you're using VS 2005:
