You got to be kidding. What does all that code have to do with the problem? Half of the code is even inside html comments, I can hardly see how that code could be relevant to anything at all.

Hi ,
You write the following code in body tag
topmargine="0"
rightmargin="0"
leftmargin="0"
bottom margin="0"
and also write cellspacing="0" and cellpadding="0" in every table tag

Chetan.visodiya wrote: in every table tag
just put that into your css file. Saves you having to put it all over the place

Hi,
Is there a way to catch images before they will be used into MSHTML for display ?
I would like to analyse image and block image display into IE if I'm not ok with the image.
I'm working in c# into a IE instance and can interact with MSHTML and the WebBrowserControl.
Thanks !

Hi,
I'm running IIE 6.0 and an application written in .NET 2003. One of the requirements is that the data be stored on a hard drive other than the hard drive on the server. So I have a drive mapped on another machine which I can see on the server, however the WebServer does not have access to that drive.
The user is not required to enter a userid/password so I believe its running under IUSR_MSP-WEBSERVER but I have no idea for sure or what the password is to grant that UserID access.
Thank you,
Glenn

Hi,
I have just started learning JavaScript.
When I typed the following code
document.write("My first JS lesson")
into notepad and saved it as first.js
I got the error: 'document' is undefined; source: Microsoft JScript runtime error
Please help.
Best regards,
Tara

Try this sample (your sample + digits 0 - 9):
<html>
<body>
<script>
document.write("My first JS lesson");
document.write("<br>");
for(var i = 0; i < 10; i++)
{
document.write(i+ "<br>");
}
</script>
</body>
</html>

Should I save the text file as first.htm or first.js ?
Actually, if I save it as first.htm, it works.

Hi.
I want to create a link in one page that links to a certain section in another page.
Any insights?
Thanks!
|
|

on the target page put an anchor link where you want to jump to
<A name="myAnchor" >
then when linking to that page use the # sign, so on your page with the link
<A href="myOtherPage.htm#myAnchor">Click here to goto MyAnchor on myOtherPage.htm</a>

Perfect. For some reason I thought I needed the "/" in between the anchor reference and html page.
Thanks!

<br />
function DragStart()<br />
{<br />
if (dragTried)<br />
{<br />
netscape.security.PrivilegeManager.enablePrivilege('UniversalXPConnect');<br />
<br />
var dragService = Components.classes["@mozilla.org/widget/dragservice;1"].getService(Components.interfaces.nsIDragService);<br />
var trans = Components.classes["@mozilla.org/widget/transferable;1"].createInstance(Components.interfaces.nsITransferable)<br />
trans.addDataFlavor("text/unicode");<br />
<br />
var textData = Components.classes["@mozilla.org/supports-string;1"].createInstance(Components.interfaces.nsISupportsString);<br />
textData.data = "Done!!!";<br />
<br />
trans.setTransferData("text/unicode", textData, textData.data.length * 2);<br />
<br />
var transArray = Components.classes["@mozilla.org/supports-array;1"].createInstance(Components.interfaces.nsISupportsArray);<br />
transArray.AppendElement(trans);<br />
<br />
dragService.invokeDragSession(dragService.TEXT_NODE, transArray, null, dragService.DRAGDROP_ACTION_COPY);<br />
}<br />
}<br />

If this question has been asked previously, I apologize in advance.
Recently (like, in the past week), I was asked to prepare to assume support of an Intranet based application that is in production (mostly ASP).
My web skills are lacking and this is going to significantly stress and grow them. Having said that, is there a product that can 'map' the process flow of a series of pages? Given a start point, can it shows what ASP pages are called, and what they call, etc?
Any help is appreciated.

Hello. Here's my problem:
Let's say I have a computer where I can play mp3 files using a player...winamp or whatever ->this will be my server. I would like to know how I can make a web page where all the users that connect can hear what I am playing and if I change the song here, it should change it at their home also. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

Hey all
I have a textbox with a max length of 5
the first three chars must be uppercase letters between [A-Z]
the final two chars must be between [0-9]
I am trying to do this as a regex function in the onChange Event using Javascript, but my Regular Expressions aren't very good.
currently I split the textbox.text into two string variables
str1 = orgID.substr(0,3);
str2 = orgID.substr(4,5);
Then I run a (very) simple regex expression on each of these substrings.
How would I do this formatting without breaking orgID into 2 substrings?
Thanks for help

You can use direct access to chars:
str.charAt(index);
