Hi!
Faced a bug on your site: when you wish to see the "articles by this author", every single article (for every single author) show up under ".NET / Active Directory" category.
Best regards,
Dmitry.
Don't worry, be happy )

Is it possible to show how many users are viewing a forum in addition to the total online users?

While posting messages on the Message Boards @ CP
I would highly reccomend to have an option to see list my posted messages like MSN forms.
The reason is that we have tons of messages being posted everyday. And If you want to navigate to your posted message for any reason (watching replies/editing etc).It takes a lot of searching till you reach your posted message
It would be really handy option 2 have @ CP......

I was wondering is there a web service I can hit to grab a list of articles and thier links on this site.
I answer a lot of questions and would like to write my own little piece to run on my desktop to find the article I need off code project.
?

Hey, Chris or whom ever.
Can you check my email. When I try to email a reply in the forums to another it says invalid email. I asume you got bounced from mine. Thanks to idiots at SBC. Skip the details. My email is mike at mabarnhart dot net is very valid. Just no longer forwarded to my sbc account.
Is there some setting on your end? Thanks Mike

Please don't cross-post, especially to a forum that is for a different topic.
I answered your question in the C# forum.

Chris, since the update of yesterday, everything seems to have gone right, except one point.
when i update some pages on the site (most of the time), it warns me about a javascript error. i made a screenshot that i could send you if you want it (but maybe you already know the issue and fixing it)...
|
|
|
|
|
I'm not seeing any errors in either IE or Firefox. If you could send me the screenshot that would be much appreciated.
More changes tomorrow. Mwhahahahaha!
cheers,
Chris Maunder

It is in DIRE need of organization. Many contributions are un-editted, there needs to be a re-organization of article categories (I would bet at least 50% of the articles are about the data grid control), and the nuisance articles need to be eliminated.
Who's the maintainer for that section?
------- sig starts

"...the staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - Jason Jystad, 10/26/2001

There's no maintainer. There's just us.
The current categorisation of articles is going to be scrapped and an entirely new system put in place. We liked the way MSDN2 did it so much that we've decided to follow suit.
Juuust kidding!
Seriously though: If you think the ASP.NET section is a teenager's closet then take a look at the C# section. The current system is too inflexible and doesn't allow narrowing down by framework version. We're working out little buns off to get this complete.
