If it's calling the navigate function, something else must be wrong. Either an error in your code, or a navigation problem with the web browser.
Keep in mind that MessageBox.Show is blocking, meaning webBrowser1.Navigate won't be called until the message box is closed.

There is a website which supports several languages.
I want to get the language of Windows OS.
Then the hyperlink could turn to different pages.
How to do this?
Thanks!

I think he wants to do this for webpage readers. If doable at all it would require some sort of clientside scripting.

That was my first thought too, but maybe he wants to put some link in his windows application (wouldn't be that unusual). Hard to tell with this kind of phrasing, so I just gave it a try.

The user's language can be found via the "Accept-Language" HTTP header in ASP.NET 1.1 (get it via Request.Headers), and then you can redirect or use some kind of custom language adaptation. For ASP.NET, you can do localization easily through resources - see here[^]. On the client side, you can use var langCode=navigator.language? navigator.language : navigator.userLanguage; .

I am writing a custom header control and want to support themes using Microsoft's new VisualStyles namespace.
The problem is that none of the Header.ItemLeft or Header.ItemRight elements are defined, which draw the empty parts of a header control.
Running a native C++ app that displays visual styles I can see that these styles are defined and render correctly.
Does anyone know why these elements would be undefined in .Net?
I know there are UxTheme wrappers for C# but would like avoid using these if possible to keep the project dependencies to a minimum.
I am developing in VS2005, Windows XP sp2 and use the Olive Windows XP theme with no modifications.

Has anyone got any experience using Redemption to access the Outlook address book?
There seem to be lots of articles on using VB but trying the same approach in C# simply doesn't work
I'm wanting to walk through the entries in the address book to see if they are the sender, spam filter type stuff.
Currently I'm trying this:-
Type t = Type.GetTypeFromProgID("myRedemption.myRDOSession");
Redemption.RDOSession mySession = (Redemption.RDOSession) Activator.CreateInstance(t);
mySession.Logon(oMissing,oMissing,oMissing,oMissing,oMissing,oMissing);
if (mySession.AddressBook.AddressLists(false).Count > 0)
{
etc etc etc
}
On entering the if statement I get an Object Exception on mySession and I can't see why.
Anyone?

Can't it be done through the Outlook Object Model? I believe the Outlook Object Model exposes a Contacts Interface.
Hope this helps...

It can but you get the security message so it isn't suitable.
Thanks though,

Is that the same security message that pops up when an email is sent trough Outlook via code? If yes, then if the original Application object from Onconnection is used, the Security popup doesn't pop up.....
Hope this helps....

Is there any Hash Table in C# and if yes then how do we use it? How do we add and how do we look up in hash table?
|
|
|
|
|
Yes, class Hashtable
<br />
Hashtable hash = new HashTable();<br />
hash["key"] = 0;<br />
MessageBox.Show(hash["key"].ToString());<br />
You can also access data through properties "Keys" and "Values".
Best regards, Alexey.

Hi,
yes of course, by using the "Hashtable" class.
Hashtable myHashTable = new Hashtable(); to instantiate a Hashtable object.
myHashTable.Add("theKey", "theValue"); to add an element
myHashTable["theKey"]...; to retrieve a "value" usig its "key"
myHashTable.Keys; to retrieve the Keys Collection property
and myHashTable.Values; to retrieve the Values Collection property
Regards.

By the way, you can look up the hashtable by
Hashtable.Contains()
Hashtable.ContainsKey()
Hashtable.ContainsValue
as well.
