Please write a descriptive subject.
Are you using VB or VB.NET?
Do you want the physical screen resoultion or the screen area available for programs (e.g. excluding the taskbar)?
Do you want the current screen for an application, the resolution of all screens, or the size of the desktop? There can theoretically be any number of screens connected to the computer. For an example; I have currently two screens, one 1900x1200 and one 1600x1200, forming a rectangular desktop area of 3500x1200.

This should do what you're after:
Dim r As Rectangle = Screen.PrimaryScreen.Bounds
'width = r.width
'height = r.height

You really need to start with the basicis. There are many examples on MSDN, The Code Project and Google. You just need to look for them.

Explanation:
To a regular VB-Winforms Datagrid I added a right-Click-Context-Menu.
It works fine, but the problem is that when the user Left_Clicks a cell (which
he usally does) and then Right_clicks (to popup the context_menu) this
cell is already sellected and bcs of that the regular Win_context-menu
pops up (not my private one).
I looked and tried all kinds of suggestions, including:
http://www.syncfusion.com/FAQ/WindowsForms/FAQ_c44c.aspx
but Nada the cell still remains selected.
Please help.
Thanks, adh

Try to copy and paste in Microsft word. I think it is much more easier for you to manage it.

What do you mean by rubbish, exactly?

This sounds like a font problem. In VS, go to Tools/Options/Environment folder/Fonts and Colors. In the "Show settings for" drop down, pick Printer. Try changing the font to something nice and generic, like Courier New and try printing it again.

Ok thx I tried this, though the font for the text editor and printer were both set to courier 10pt, changing any thing there did not help.
Still the same rubbish. The printer is fine for all other apps.

Could it be a Unicode setting problem?
