Yeah, but the problem now is that you can't even say something like:
"You need to add ondblclick="eatthis();" to the button to prevent unfortunate accidents" without it being mangled to read:
"You need to add ondblclick="eatthis();" to the button to prevent unfortunate accidents"
Could do with a bit of context.

How about forum tag "code" or checkbox "Ignore HTML tags in this message". This elements are also useless in this situation. Can you replace the symbol "=" or
any other symbol from problem string with "&#...;" construction in html.
And finally, this forum replaces "<" and ">" to < and >, why you can't replace "=" to = ?
Best regards, Alexey.

This is by design.
You have to check the "Ignore HTML tags in this message" checkbox, otherwise the scripts think you are trying to post HTML/Script and strip out and modify the offending tags and attributes.
I edited the message you pointed to and set the checkbox and it's displaying fine now.

I don't seem to be getting email notifications when one of my posts gets a reply. Anyone else getting this problem?

I think it's a matter of "never" rather then "late" - Still no notifications today - Actually I did get one but not the rest.

Still not working for me. It really makes forums a lot less enjoyable and interactive. I was hoping some staff would read this thread and fix the problem. What is the procedure for reporting problems?

Did you register your account with a $115 in CP ? We all did and we are getting the Notification. I think Chris can give you only limited features for free ....ROTFL.whatever I said so far is just to tease you, hey dont beat me , *duck*

That would explain a lot. Actually I've been getting a few emails lately. Hard to tell if it's all of them but here's hoping the problem has been resolved.

Yeah steve, it happens at times. Not necessarily be a notification from CP, but our usual Emails sometimes arrives late, a busily engaged mail server could be a reason for it I guess.

I got an email for this message. It's only the second I've received since starting this thread 3 days ago.

Got one for your reply. Just checked my records and it seems that the e-mail is intermittent rather than just totally down. I've recieved messages on some days, and not many for other days.

Chris, is that you who made this new message editor behavior when pressing then enter key ?? (inserts 2 '\n' instead of once)...

I have a couple articles bookmarked on my Code Project account that are still in the "useritems" folder. If/When they get moved to the appropriate category, will CP update the bookmark automatically?
