There are two things that you might need to do:
+ Create an event handler for the Click[^] event of the button.
+ In the handler, you can use the Dictionary[^] class to create a new folder on the server, also you should remember that your application should have permission to create folder, otheriwise you will get the error.

try this:
1. Add a div tag on your page and give it an ID (ex: divGrid)
2. Add your datagrid control into the div.
3. Add an button and write to onclick event, which will open a new blank page.
4. Add all HTML tag in divGrid to the new page.
ex:

<br />
<input type='button' onclick.='doPrint();'>

Hello Friends,
I am facing a serious gridview problem, I am binding my gridview from code behind like(myGridView.DataSource=myDataSet; myGridView.DataBind()). But the problem is when i click the inbuilt "edit" button of the grid and the rows comes to edit mode, I cant able to get the cell values in any of the event like row_updating etc. For all the "rows(index)cells(index).Text" its displaying the blank text "". I am not able to figure out what the problem is. Please help me out friends....
I have tried all of these commands:
1). lblMessage.Text = CType(CType(e.CommandSource, LinkButton).NamingContainer, GridViewRow).Cells(4).Text
2). Dim m_ColumnText As String
m_ColumnText = GV1.Rows(GV1.EditIndex).Cells(4).Text
3). lblMessage.Text = Server.HtmlDecode(row.Cells(4).Text)
All are showing blank text, but i have values in my grid cells i can see it from my eyes.....i am very frustrated....plz...plz...help me out.

Hi there,
What does your gridview look like? What is the column 4? If the cell 4 simply contains an input control like Textbox in Edit mode, the Text property returns empty.

Yes,  . In Edit mode, the cell does not contain text, but a text box so that the user can input the value, so the Text property of the cell should be empty. And if you want to access the value, you should cast the child control contained in the Controls collection of the cell 4 (.Controls[0]) to the TextBox control, then access the Text property of the textbox.

Urgent.reply needed immediately.
The session variable Session["strUserName"] becomes null and the 'session time out' message is being displayed.
function Session.get_item() evaluated and returned null.
This happens only when i have another browser window open before opening my web application.

i dont know right but i think this way dont be bad:
u can open global.asax.cs
and in htis function write this form:
protected void Session_Start(Object sender, EventArgs e)
{
Session["strUserName"]="aaa";
}
that means you can control that amount of session dont be null.

ViewState Concept is based on Hidden Field Concept
The main Purpose of ViewState is To maintain Persistant values for controls under postback implementation
Global.asax is the file that is compiled first when u complie ur application
It will have Session Events and applciation Events
U can have atmost one Global.asax for a project
Response.Redirect redirects from Ur Form to specific Site/Form
It causes roundtrip.U can pass query strings using this
Server.Transfer simply transfers the form to server.Here the transferred Url will not be visible to the user
Response.Output.Write writes the output in a more formatted form

hi All people
I instan VS.2005 after that i run Webapplication it ok(Web brower is IE)
and after i instan Firefox but when i run WebApplication(F5 in vs.2005) to be it run on Firefox When i run on Fire fox i cant debug WebApplication
Some body help me. how is Config vs.2005(WebApplication run on IE"Internet Explore")
Note: When i uninstan Vs.2005 & Firefox after that i instan Vs.2005 but it ask unable to stat "C:program/ Mozilla firefox/ firefox.exe" i try copy IE and Rename it = "firefox.exe" but not yet

I want to stay with GridView (unless another view can easily for sorting and display in rows), but I want to make some rows bold depending on the contents of a field. I have an extra text field returned with my query that is null of "Bold" and I want the null rows to show normal and the bold rows to show as bold. Can this be done? How?

To change the format of the gridview row, you can create a handler for the RowDataBound[^] event of the GridView control. In the handler, you can format the background color of the row based on data using the BackColor or the CssClass property of the GridViewRow instance (e.Row).

In my ASP.NET 2.0 app I create and open an SQL connection in the page's constructor and call Dispose() in the destructor. The SQLConnection
object is a class member of the page. This page makes heavy use of the SQLConnection object so I felt opening and closing in the constructor/destructor respectively was good design. I know this doesn't take full advantage of connection pooling. Any design input would be very much appreciated.
Here's the destructor code:
