Please try the following code
Request.Form.GetValues("chkSelect")

If you want to manipulate a server control or HTML element through server-side code, you must mark the element with the attribute runat="server" . In your case, you could certainly have the following:
<input type="checkbox" id="chkSelect" runat="server"/> Server-side then, the chkSelect object would be identified as the type System.Web.UI.HtmlControls.HtmlInputCheckBox , and you could inspect or manipulate it's properties (lookup HtmlInputCheckBox on MSDN for a reference).
You could certainly use a <asp:Checkbox id="chkSelect" runat="server"/> control instead. Any reason you're not?

I want to create a page in which I ask the user to upload files. I want to upload those files into some directory which is to be created dynamically. How can I open File Dialog on a page and then create a directory where I can save the file?
Thanks,
Sandy

Hi, sorry i know this isnt a java forum but i do know that a few of you have some good java / .net knowledge.
I have the following code to create a pop-up window:
string popupScript = "<script language='javascript'>" +<br />
"window.open('"+strUrl+"', 'CustomPopUp', " +<br />
"',, menubar=no, resizable=yes')" +<br />
"</script>";<br />
<br />
Page.RegisterStartupScript("PopupScript", popupScript);
How do i add a scrollbar to the window?
Thanks!

Nor is it a Java question...that is javascript - a very very different beast. They share almost nothing except name.
In answer to your question,You have this in your code:
menubar=no, resizable=yes
and I think this may be the answer
menubar=no, resizable=yes, scrollbars=yes

Hi,
I am using TypedDataset in my appliaction, It has 3 tables and those tables have some relations among them. In the second datatable there are some computed columns(even it has some aggregate functions). When I am trying to set the one of the computed column as a parameter to my update storedprocedure it is raising an exception when i am calling dataadapter.update() method on the ssecond table.
It is giving {"The column mapping from SourceColumn "XXX" failed because the DataColumn "XXXX" is a computed column." }, How to resolve this. Is there any possibility that we can use the computed columns in the datatable for updating. If not is there any workaround for this.
Thanks in advance

If the computed columns are based on the data in your dataset, surely you can just put the computations into your update sql...

there is a good article here on CP somewhere.
Can't find it right away, but if you try several keywords you'll get there (also try MSDN)
(keywords you can try, dynamically create datagrid, datagrid at runtime, ...)
Coulda, woulda, shoulda doesn't matter if you don't.
