Let us consider a html page with a command button activex control.
We create a webbrowser control within our application;navigate to this url.
Next we ierate the mshtml DOM to arrive at this activex element.
Is it possible to invoke the 'onpress' event of this button programatically or via script?
We require this for a playback performance functionality in which we would be automating the manual actions(events).

Do you want to click one button in html page within your application ?
|
|
|
|
|
yes.i want to
1.host a browser,
2.navigate to a url,
3.load the document and then
4.click a button within it.
I am not clear on the last part of it.How do i submit html control events to a browser control without user intervention.

Im not sure but maybe you can hide scrollbar with these functions
ShowScrollBar
or
BOOL o=InitializeFlatSB(hWnd);
o=FlatSB_ShowScrollBar(hWnd,SB_BOTH,0);

Hi all,
I've create in VC6 a win32 static library. I called it CommonLibrary.
The objective is the encapsulate and to simplify some annoying uses of win32 the nor MFC or other libraries gives.
for starters, i've implemented 3 classes:
1. CRegEx - Which encapsulate the annoying registry methods RegXXXX where XXXX is the operation being done on the registry.
2. CFolderDialogEx - Which encapsulate the annoying shell method SHBrowseForFolder. it is like MFC CFileDialog, but it displays folders selection.
3. CTrayIconEx - Which encapsulate the annoying method Shell_NotifyIcon. helps put and remove icons easily in the system tray.
I would like to hear your comments about what other classes should be in this static library.
also maybe you would like to join me in writing those classes, like a join project.
I know there are many classes here in code project, but there is no library the contains them all.
what do you think?

MFC 7.0 is VC2002. I believe VC2003 is 7.1 and 2005 is 8.0. There aren't that many changes to MFC, msdn.microsoft.com/google is as good a place as any for info.

Unless you buy a language specific Visual Studio edition, they all come with VB.NET, C#, C++ and MFC, except the Visual C++ Express Edition, which is free but does not support MFC at all.

Which version MFC does WinXp carry? MFC60.DLL or MFC7x.DLL?

Obviously, you can install as many different MFC versions on a machine as you need. I don't know if any come with it, I sure wouldn't be assuming anything without checking first, if I was shipping to XP only and thought I may get away with something

i have working code on VC++ .. i want to code in eVC++ can anyone help me with what are the differences and how to go about:confused

In general, you won't have too much problems porting your code. The main difference is that some functions are not supported in eVC (you'll have to check the doc for that). The easiest solution to check, is to create a new project in eVC and add all your files and compile. Then, check out the errors .
