Hello, I'm trying to view a webpage in a WebBrowser using DocumentStream.
The problem is about showing it. If I put the AllowBrowsing in TRUE, I can't see the page, only I see a blank page. If I put the AllowBrowsing in FALSE, I see the page but I can't make click on the links.
I write: webBrowser.DocumentStream = htmlDocument;
in the Load event. I've nothing in the URL property.
It's like the blank page is loading in the WebBrowser.
Any ideas?
Thanks a lot !!!!

How can we assing my custom event to a third party event;
I am using Secure Black box for PGP projects and in C++ I can do something like
Reader->OnCreateOutputStream = DecryptStreamNeeded;
Where Reader->OnCreateOutputStream is the third party event and DecryptStreamNeeded is mine so when OnCreateoutputStream fires it calls DecryptStreamNeeded.
In C++ the declaration above works.
I want to recreate that in C#
Here is the Third party delegate and event
event TSBPGPCreateOutputStreamEvent OnCreateOutputStream;
public delegate void TSBPGPCreateOutputStreamEvent(TObject Sender, MemoryStream Stream);
Here is mine:
//Delegates
public delegate void MyDelegateDecrypt(same params as above);
public event MyDelegateDecrypt MyDecryptEvent;
Here is my function i want to call
public void MyDelegateDecryptEvent(same params as above)
{
Stream = myDecryptStream;
FreeOnExit = false;
}
And now I'm stuck because at this point when myDecryptor.OnCreateOutputStream fires I want it to be redirected to MyDecryptEvent. So when I did this:
myDecryptor.OnCreateOutputStream = MyDecryptEvent;
and I get a type mismatch.

Probably I'm not getting you but you might search for this (assuming that weird 'removed' actually means 'OnCreateOutputStream'):
myDecryptor.OnCreateOutputStream += new MyDelegateDecrypt(MyDelegateDecryptEvent);
Unbdinging is nearly the same:
myDecryptor.OnCreateOutputStream -= new MyDelegateDecrypt(MyDelegateDecryptEvent);

Thanks, I will try this.

What is BHO? What do you mean by it? What does it stand for?

I am trying to display an image into a table or placeholder. However I get a mis-matched type error. Does some know of how to display an image into a specific location without using the image placeholder tag from VS.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi.
I want to write a simple spelling and grammer checker application.
spell checker is not difficulp, But because my language is not English grammer checker is difficult for me.
Now I want you say me 3,4 simple grammer in English that implementation of them be simple.
My project is a simple student project, for this implementation of 3,4 grammer is efficient.
Best wishes

I'm starting to look for a good obfuscator for .Net specifically C# 2005. Does anybody have one they are happy with and would recomend? Or, are there any out there that I should avoid like the plague?
Thanks

Just a guess, but he probably wants to obfuscate his code...

I'm baffled here. My user has a simple request, when he tabs from one control to the next, he wants to have the RichTextBoxes automatically select the entire word so he can start typing a new value (as opposed to having to stop and grab his mouse...or repeatedly hit the delete key to erase the current text in the control)
So I look up and change the RichTextBox AutoWordSelect property from false to true. According to MSDN this should do the trick right?
Ummm....wrong.
As far as I can tell this property has no effect whatsoever. I've also tried changing various other properties onmy RichText box in case there's some interaction, Multi-line, HideSelection, ShowSelectionMargin etc. etc. in case there's some bizarre undocumented interaction going on, but nothing I've tried so far results in a RichTextBox that behaves the way it should. To me this is doubly irritating, because after all, the behavior he's asking me for is pretty much the default normal behavior for any type of form (just tab around on any web page with user login/password text boxes and you'll see what I mean).
Perhaps this is a .NET question, I'm sure there's overlap.
I've google searched this one and I'm not the only one who's seen it and asked about it, but I haven't found any legit replies and solutions to anyones question.
FYI I'm using VS2003/Csharp for the project.
Thanks in advance for advice/help. This extremely simple request has me pulling my hair out in frustration.

You mean select the entire text or just the last word? Have you tried Select(0, TextLength) ?
|
|
|
|
|
No no no.
I want the FORM to automatically select the text when the control receives focus.
I probably can select text from inside my program with a statement, but that's not the point.
Plus...I have over 20 RichTextBox controls on this form and I want them ALL to behave the same way. If I have to go through and add all kinds of OnReceiveFocus() Handlers and Select(0, TextLength); statements then I'll be here all day.
My point is, according to MSDN, that's what AutoWordSelection is supposed to do. Does anyone know why it doesn't do it and how to correct it?

I think you understand it incorrectly. You actually need to select part of the word to select the whole one. Recheck the documentation.

Hmmm, well you are right, I guess I did misread what ths property was for.
However, setting this property to true still has no effect. I have two controls on a form side by side. One with autoword select = true and one with autoselect=false.
As far as I can tell both controls behave the exact same way. I can select a single letter, a couple letters, or the entire word with my mouse.
But as usual I'm getting distracted from the goal I was tyring to achieve which was selecting the text as soon as the control gain focus. It's just frustrating when you try and experiment and various properties seem to have no effect.
About the only thing I can conclude is perhaps if the RichTextBox is stretched out and contains a sentence rather than a single word it works. I don't know *sigh*

eval("chkProf.checked=false;")

Hi everybody!
I have the next code and I’m having a problem with the DataRow:
DataTable dt = new DataTable();
dt.Load(GetReader());
dataGridView.DataSource = dt;
DataRow[]originalRows = dt.Select();
The problem is that when I change a cell value in the datagridview the change is also set in the originalRows values. I’d like to avoid this, since I want to use the original values of the datatable to compare them later to see whether there ware changes in my datagridview.
Thanks in advance,
Elvia

I forgot to say that I tried the following but it didn't work:
private void dataGridView_CellBeginEdit(object sender, DataGridViewCellCancelEventArgs e)
{
originalRows[e.RowIndex].CancelEdit();
originalRows[e.RowIndex].EndEdit();
}

Look into using DataSet rather than DataTable directly for loading and as DataSource

You're trying to solve this problem the wrong way. The Select method of the DataTable returns references to the rows in the table, not clones. When a value in a row is changed via the grid, the corresponding row in the table (and, hence, an element in your originalRows array) will reflect that change.
If all that you need to do is detect if values in the table have been modified, you can loop over every row in the table and check the RowState property.
