How much are you willing to pay? We are happy to answer particular questions for you, but it is a bit much to ask someone to do your work for you.

you're joking, aren't you ?!
firstly, the is VB.NET, so it wont be converted directly to C++ but into Managed C++
secondly, why don't you do yourself ? because you don't understand the original code, or because you don't know C++ ?
at last, don't expect us to solv a whole problem like that. we here at codeproject answer questions for fun, so no one pay us, and we generally allow to give ous services on specific points...

I'm a university student. I enjoy programming and am in favour of Java, but I have seen that C++ .NET can offer alot to the programmer. I am not asking for you to do it all, I have attempted to do it myself. I am not sure as to how well I am foing however, could you please direct me in the direction of a tutorial site to aid me if you feel I am going to benefit in an unproper way.
I need to understand from scratch how to do it. I am really sruggling with obtaining the methods from the avicap32.dll and the user32.dll, am I having problems because I am making a .NET application. I haven't a clue as to how to do this. Some guidance, any, is appreciated.

Thanks, but you're wrong, if you have seen what I have written further down you will see that I am asking for help. Could you direct me towards a tutorial which will teach me.

I am using Visual Dev 2003 with a CHTMLView derived Class as part of a larger application. The content pages have HTML wrappers with Flash content.
It's been working fine with IE 6, but after installing IE 7 beta 2, I get the equivalent of "cannot display web page" on the first clicking of an internal or external link after timing out. When I click it a second time, it works!
Anybody else run into this, any suggested fixes?

Hi there,I have an VC++ application that is using a CListControl and the problem is that when i press ESC, it executes the function for adding text in the list that i am using.How to check why is this happening and how pressing ESC and the function i wrote are connected?
I tried with WM_KEY but it didn't work.
Thanx in advance

What code do you have in place for monitoring the Esc key?

Well, normally in a dialog, pressing <ESC> triggers IDCANCEL (simulates pressing [Cancel] ). If you have something mapped to the same identifier value as IDCANCEL, or something in a OnCancel(...) handler, it may get triggered by pressing <ESC> .
I had a similar problem one when my resources got messed up oen time and one of my buttons took on the same ID value as IDCANCEL - since there was no real [Cancel] button on the dialog, the RC allowed me to do so.
Peace!

Everything I've been able to read about cppunit shows how to build the TestRunner code in either the InitInstance() or the Main function of an executable. I have 20+ dlls that I want to be able to test individually, and I was hoping there is an easier way to test them besides writing a test App that I would have to create to run tests on the dlls. Thanks for your time and help!

dude !!!
didn't you read what i said, or didn't you understand ?
when i say you cannot define a class as static, it means that you CANNOT define a class like you do :
<font color=red>static</font> class CFoo {
};
what i said however is that you are allowed to declare an instance of a class as static, that means a variable which type is a user-defined type :
#include "Foo.h"
static CFoo foo;
now, what don't you understand ?
you'd certainly google the internet or even better, search a good C++ book for static concept...
