I haven't tried this but only read about it.
You can look for RtAudio if this helps.
Somethings seem HARD to do, until we know how to do them.

Thanks, but unfortunately this doesn't have what I'm looking for. Currently I think that perhaps Microsoft decided not to have an API for this as they consider changing the default audio playback device programmatically as something which could be abused.

An application can run/create another application using the following functions
ShellExecute() function
or
CreateProcess() function
nave

|
|
|
|
It can also do so via CoCreateInstance and friends. If the server is of the out-of-process variety another process can be launched.

Thank you.
if the plugin is a exe. I can just excute it.
but if the plugin is a dll component.
How could I know which interface to query?
because I only know the filename such as test.dll and the CLSID, I don't even know the IID_***.

You can use :
HINTERNET structure
Opening the internet Connection and inItialising WinInet function
Use the InternetOpen() function.
Now for postig and getting the data.
use: InternetOpenUrl() function
Before this Read the msdn for HINTERNET.
Cheers

I am trying to initialize a "brush" in visual C++ and then call it back and changing the colors of RGB. My statments for initialization are:
CFrame::CFrame()
{
...
...
...
colorbar.CreateSolidBrush(RGB(a,b,c));
...
...
}
void CFrame::OnPaint()
{
CPaintDC dc(this);
dc.TextOut (5,40,"Red Color Is:");
//Output color frame
COLORREF(RGB(a,b,c));
a = x;
CRect rc(100,150,150,200);
dc.FillSolidRect(&rc,RGB(a,250,250));
}
No matter what I try, the colors only get defined
at initialize time and never change. Are there functions
in MFC that allow one to change the colors after
initialization and what are they? Please let me know at sid_kraft@msn.com. Thanks in advance, Sid Kraft

u can change the color of CBrush. u have to delete the previous brush before creating the new brush.
if( 0 != colorbar.m_hObject )
{
colorbar.DeleteObject();
}
colorbar.CreateSolidBrush(RGB(a,b,c));

I need to pass dereference a pointer so that I can obtain a CString. It seems to crash on the second function call. I think I'm not handling the deletion of the pointer correctly? What do you think? Thanks!
CString new_date;
BOOL new_date;
new_date = IsDate("4/5/07", &new_date);
int CDateTime::IsDate(CString datestr, CString * new_date_format)
{
CString month;
CString day;
CString year;
/* parse datestr */
CString revised_str = month + "/" + day + "/" + year;
*new_date_format = revised_str;
}

Yes. I meant to name it differently.

code good
add breakpoints what's second parameter at end function?

Is it due to the local scope of revised_str?

Hi!
First of all, sorry for my poor English and my stupidity.
I've been attempting to include the header file "cesync.h" in a vs2005 project and I don't know how the hell I'm getting lots of errors such as:
error C2065: '_JBLEN': undeclared identifier (file stdlib.h)
and many others...
About the code, all I have to say is that it's a new project (from scratch) and the include has been added before any other line in the .h auto-generated code. Thanks.
