If you are using VC6, do this.
Project->Settings->C/C+->Category(Precompiled Header files ) , check automatic use of precompiled headers.

no its not working i am fed up now.....It has some prob with my stdafx.cpp/.h file while compilation.I have not done any modification.....just opening the new project and try to compiling..thats it....

believe me i have done the same like told me....but its not working..error is there..i have restart my pc also

Compile only the StdAfx.cpp once which is in ur Workspace.
Then try to build all the project

This error results from a missing file - the compiled version of StdAfx.cpp. This problem often occurs after restoring a saved workspace from diskette without the Debug directory.
To fix the error select StdAfx.cpp from the workspace file list them choose Compile from the Build menu.
If that doesn't work the go to Project -> Settings, select the C/C++ tab, and click the radio button labeled Create Precompiled Headers.

Hi,
I coding for OPC in vc++.
For the function NumberofOPCServers(True,sHost)
It exists an WTClient error as OPCEnum failed.
Whats the reason for this?

In c++ things r:
difine class, functions.
In main call function,with or without parameter.And display OK
BUT when same thing has to b done on VC++ how,
Till difining the class and writhing function is over...now how to call the function by passing the parameter....so that they work .project open with dialog based application(exe),using active-x
controls and working with API
base class : CWnd
class name : caAPI
header file : aapi.h
implimentation file : aapi.cpp

I have define the class and all the function as in .h and .cpp file...
But i dont know how to call that function as i was doing in c++ in void main() now i have to call function in vc++ with parameter i dont know how

you can create a main function. Create an instance of your class in the main function. And then call the function with the object/pointer variable.
The same as you did in C++
In MFC applications however the main function is hidden.
Somethings seem HARD to do, until we know how to do them.

include the header file, where u want to create the object and functions. Then create objct and call function
In VC u can creatte diff. kind of projects using the wizards, so dont compare it with c++ main().
If u want to create dos type app, use Win32 Console App. wizrd.
u can create Windows app, using Win32 App wizrd..In this case u can see WinMain instead of main()
First learn about how to use VC++ and then start programming than this kind of Quick start....Slow and Study WIN(dows)the race

there are many thing and function are become obslete or replaced by better function in VC++ for Example Void main () is replaced by WinMan() in Win32 and CWinApp Wrap same in MFC!
so moral of story bought a VC++ book or look for online material to learn vc++...
