for this you have already been answered yesterday. Check this link:
http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/webtech/091201-1.shtml
and don't be impatient(posting the same question multiple time) because whenever somebody will get the free time they will answer your question.

You'll also find that posting many times when you already have an answer does not make people want to help you...

hi,
Sorry for inconvenience. Still I didn’t get exact solution to my problem.

Then you might want to consider taking some of the feedback people have given you and re-wording the question...? Continually asking the same thing and hoping for some kind of dawning inspiration amongst the people here is not going to get you too far...

some times its not possible to give answer exactly wot you looking for but give you the idea and hint to solve your problem and then you have to use you own programming skills to come up with a solution....
sorry if you not getting wot you looking for...

First of all, you cannot include an exe, but ofcourse you can execute.
You can pass your asp.net page variables as arguments to exe, also you can get return data from exe by writing it to some text file.
Here is simple code snippet in C#:
try
{
string yourArgs = "bla bla bla";
p.StartInfo.FileName = System.Web.HttpContext.Current.Server.MapPath("yourapplication.exe");
p.StartInfo.UseShellExecute = false;
p.StartInfo.WorkingDirectory = Path;
p.StartInfo.RedirectStandardOutput = true;
p.StartInfo.CreateNoWindow = true;
p.StartInfo.WindowStyle = ProcessWindowStyle.Hidden;
p.StartInfo.Arguments = yourArgs;
p.EnableRaisingEvents = true;
p.Start();
p.WaitForExit();
p.Close();
p.Dispose();
}
catch (Exception exp)
{
}

Ketan.

Hey, its not a big deal to convert this simple c# code to vb.net. Although, you can google for c# to vb.net converters and get the code converted.
You can mention your dekstop application path whatever it is.

I'm not going to answer your question, but maybe you will find my post usefull anyway
I realy wonder, why you want to execute desktop application from web application (that is quite weird) to convert dates from one calender to another, if .NET can do it for you as well.
Check good example here on codeproject:
http://www.codeproject.com/cs/samples/hijrigregorianclass.asp
I hope it helps, it is much better solution for your problem, I think.

Hi,
Is it possible to auto-deploy webpages to multiple sites/servers at a time using visual studio .Net 2003?
Or is there any another tool using which we can create a setup which allows to deploy web pages to multiple sites?
Anyone having any idea on it. Please update.

code will be helpful

You can iterate through all the items in the listbox and if the item is selected the get the values of them.

e.g.
foreach (ListItem anItem in myListBox.Items)
{
if (anItem.Selected)

Hi, I really need help on this one.
I have a very simple website setup going. 1 Master page, 1 default page (auto gen code with 1 label welcoming the user.) and 2 other pages.
When I run from .Net all is well, but when I try to hit the published page (or even just the default page in the dev directory) with IE I get this error:
The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A name was started with an invalid character. Error processing resource 'http://localhost/annas/intiendo%20heirachy%20stuff...
<%@ Page MasterPageFile="~/IntiendoTrafficIncident.master" Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeFile="Default2.aspx.c...
I don't have the faintest idea whats going on, at least nobody else in the office does either
This one is giving me a headache, since it happens on auto gen code, with or without the use of a css...(which I initially thought was the prob.) Is there some setting I need to change when using master pages? (first time I'm using them as well.)
Thanks for your time.

try to set the response type to plain text
Response.ContentType = "text/plain";

Where should I put that? I tried the Page load event of the master page and the default page with no success.
I started a new, default, empty project with 1 master page and 1 default page and nothing else. It works in the IDE but has the same problems.
I think I may be "publishing" it incorrectly. How can I be sure that it is in the correct folders, and what settings should I change in IIS?
Thanks for the suggestion though.

is ur ASP.NET properly registered with IIS?
Try running this on ur machine to re-register it
aspnet_regiis -u
aspnet_regiis -i
then create another app and try again

Look at the monkey!
Got it to work, and it was my own stupidity... I'll state everything I did here, just incase someone else comes across the same problem...
I copied the folder containing my site into the wwwroot folder.
Then in IIS I (and here is the kicker, it would seem) opened the properties page of the directory I just copied in and created it as an application...
Yes, there is a fair amount of egg on my face at the moment and I'm sorry to waste you guys time with my stupidity...
But thanks for all the suggestions, I'll surely keep them in mind for future bug hunting...

Dear Friends,
I want to set Dataset in runtime to formview, that time formview should generate controls etc....
Please help me....

You simply assign the dataset to the DataSource property of the FormView control, if the dataset has multiple tables, you can determine which table is bound to the control in the DataMember property, you then call the DataBind method.
