Hi all
Is it possible to anti-alias the edges of a rotated image using GDI+/.Net 2.0? I am rendering an image onto another and because it's rotated it'll have jaggies. I know that you can use InterpolationModes and SmoothingModes but it doesn't seem to affect the edges of the image against the background image.
Any pointers?

I don't think so. But you could adjust the alpha values of 'all pixels at the edges' prior to call DrawImage. Probably this helps a bit...

I have a DataGridView object and I added a ContextMenuStrip control to the DataGridView.ContextMenu. This works well, if I right-click the datagrid view I get the context menu I wanted. The problem is, I would like to, just before the context menu appears perform a left click to also select the cell or row under the mouse at that moment. Not sure what is the best way to do this.

Hi,
Scenario:
1. User opens browser on their laptop/desktop.
2. User connects to remote web application.
3. User browses and clicks required button on web application.
4. As a result of clicking the button the web application activates/calls a web service on the client machine.
5. The web service then makes call back to web application and downloads the required data.
No data is delivered to the client ALL that happens is the action in (4) that allows a method to be called in the client and then the data is requested after necessary security checks.
Note: The desktop/laptop will always have .NET Framework installed. The call to the web service will always be to the current desktop/laptop.
Is the above possible? If not is there any suggestions as to a possible solution.

Hi all I m new for .net and i m working on network system ...
my server name is "midserver" ..i was trying to create a new project with VS.Net named "test1" and i got error "The Default Web Access mode for this project is set to file share,but the project folder at 'http://midserver/test1' cannot be opend with the path'\\midserver\wwwroot$\test1' . The error returned was:
Unable to create Web project 'test1' . the UNC share'\\midserver\wwwroot$\test1' does not exist or you do not have access." ..
how i can overcome to this problem ..

I'm working with a smart card and need to get the certificates in to the store. I don't know much about certificates but I think it's something wrong with the root-certificate. When I add it, it won't show up in the certificate list in IE. I get this fault message when I run the program:

y token could not be authenticated or authorized ---> System.Security.SecurityEx
ception: WSE537: The certificate's trust chain could not be verified with the fo

I have search a lot on the internet but can find any thing about this.
Can any one help me or does any one know a good book about certificates in .Net?

Hi
Is there any way I could use a TimeSpan as a interval for a Timer? milliseconds doesnt quite cover it when dealing with large intervals.
What I am making is a way for the application to get an event every day at the stroke of midnight. The code I use now is here:
This is for starting the timer with a interval that make is trigger on the exact hour of midnight.
DateTime now = DateTime.Now.AddDays(1);<br />
DateTime time2 = new DateTime(now.Year, now.Month, now.Day, 0, 0, 0);<br />
TimeSpan dif = time2 - DateTime.Now;<br />
<br />
timer1.Interval = (int)dif.TotalMilliseconds;<br />
timer1.Enabled = true;
If anyone know a more elegant way of doing this then PLEASE let me know. At least I want to get rid of the millisecond interval as a whole day is something more suited for TimeSpan object.

I have an application which use has a DLL with 100+ (auto-generated) Managed C++ wrapper around some native API.
Compare to a purely version my application has some performance issue and I just realized it is probably due to the security check which happen just before each of the (numerous) call into this native API.
Now I know that, perhaps, I could tag my MC++ wrapper with
<suppressunmanagedcodesecurityattribute>
But I wonder if there is not an other call I could place in the Main() function (such as Permission.Demand() or stuff like that) which will achieve the same result?
After all my code this is for a desktop application with as much right as the user.

Hi All,
My task with combobox is:
When I Type a letter in combobox it should select the Item which is starting
with the letter.
for example the Combobox items are One,two,three,Four,Five,thirty,forty,fifty etc.
When I type 't',it should select "three" which is first in combobox items and the focus on remaining "hree".agian when i type 'h'(becomes"th") and the focus on "ree",on typing 'i'(becomes"thi"),combo should select "thirty",and focus on "rty".like that it should go on.
Please suggest.

Set the AutoCompleteSource property of the ComboBox to ListItems (if in .NET 2)
If you're using .NET 1.x then you'll need to write or use a combo box which supports autocomplete. There are a few articles on this site regarding this.
