Hi,
We already have a windows service set up to write to binary file for "our" custom events. Need to translate this binary file into comma delimited text file - how would we go about doing that? Can we just some built in VS2005 functions?
any ideas/thoughts much appreciated.
Thank you for your time.

Believe me I am not trying to cross post, it is just that some of the users look at only one type of forums, I could write the code in either VB.Net or C#. So, I wanted to get all ideas that users were willing to put out there.
Thanks.

You just accidently posted the same question in four different forums?
If you really need to get attention in different forums, post the question in one of them, and post links to that question in the other forums.

what does that mean? Like load the file in VS and then save it as comma delimited? If that is what you mean that will not work since VS does not know the format of your file. What software will know the format of your file? None I imagine.

What is the problem? That is a pretty basic operation, what specifically are you having trouble with?

One way to test is to create an email using notepad and just the basic needed fields, like to, from, subject, body. Drop this in the folder "C:\Inetpub\mailroot\Pickup" and see if that email is sent. It is kinda a test to make sure that emails are being sent, without using the web site.
Another place to look would be the log files, if any mention of undelivered emails or any such message.
Thanks.

Login to your PayPal account, you will find a link to some PHP examples, sorry I don't know the link, but look for:-

i'm designing a web site using Dreamweaver mx.
I've used images that change when the mouse rolls over the image (in dreamweaver i've used the swap image attribute to achieve this).
The page is an active server page which I can view in Internet Explorer but not Mozilla(FireFox).
I've tested the code on a validator service via the following link http://validator.w3.org/ and it validates all the code i've used.
Have you any idea why i can't see the page in FireFox? When i look at it in FireFox it just comes up as HTML source code, no images.
Here's the code:

Can I suggest that when you references images or any other document that you EXCLUDE spaces and any other special characters in BOTH folder name and file name. Therefore name your folders and files without spaces etc within them.

I have been using ajax with firefox for a few months now. I just ran into a problem when I tried to access a page using an xmlhttprequest that was on a different server than the application. So, the url looked lik "http://www.some.com/ajax/blah.asp" instead of just "ajax/blah.asp". All of a sudden it did not wan to send the request. It works fine in Internet explorer, but I design my application for firefox! what a mess. Any ideas?

Standard question #2:
What error message do you get?
---
b { font-weight: normal; }
That is the thing, There is NO error message. It just stops executing the javascript when xmlHttp.send() is called.
Have you opened the Javascript console, so that you see the error messages?
---
b { font-weight: normal; }
I opened it and it said:
Error: uncaught exception: Permission denied to call method XMLHttpRequest.open
