Hi!
check the extension for your image, maybe it's not supported on your machine. You may need plugins to see some pictures. Cheers!

Thanks in anticipation,
Rakesh
Dim ixQuery ' Index Server query object.
Set ixQuery = CreateObject("ixsso.Query")
If (Err.Description <> "") Then
MsgBox err.Description
End If
ixQuery.Columns = "filename,rank"
ixQuery.SortBy = "rank[d]"
ixQuery.Query = "Agreement"
ixQuery.Maxrecords = 1000
ixQuery.Catalog = "query://coiw2ptidbdev/system"
Dim util
Set util = CreateObject("ixsso.Util")
util.AddScopeToQuery ixQuery, "/", "deep"
If (Err.Description <> "") Then

End If
' Run the query (i.e. create the recordset).
Dim queryRS
'Set queryRS = CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")
Set queryRS = ixQuery.CreateRecordSet("nonsequential")
' Check the query result. If it timed out or return no records, then show
' an appropriate message. Otherwise, show the hits.
If (Err.Description <> "") Then
MsgBox err.Description
Else
If queryRS Is Nothing Then
MsgBox "No records found"
ElseIf (ixQuery.QueryTimedOut) Then

MsgBox cstr(queryRS.PageSize)
If (Err.Number <> 0) Then

How about changing your If statement to 'OR':
If e.KeyCode=Keys.LWin Or e.KeyCode=Keys.RWin Then

still cannot disable the right window logo key.
If e.KeyCode=Keys.RWin Then
code here also just allow me to disable the left window logo key.

You might want to set a breakpoint on that If statement and see if its even being called when you hit that key. If it is, then you can peek at the e.KeyCode to see what value it holds. Then you can change the code to look for that value. Be warned! Not every keyboard has 2 Windows logo keys.

There is an application in VB6 and n no. of user are using that application (.exe). In this applicatin (.exe) every user are interacting with a recordset of SQL Server 2000. If any of user update or delete any of row, a message should be sent to every users telling them that a specific id's row is updated or deleted by <username> in a message box.
I think this can be done by using recordset's dynamic property i.e. "Row Update Notification Property" and "Row Delete Notification Property". But i do'nt know exact coding for it.
Please guide me.
Thanks and Regards

This won't tell you the backend database was modified, only that the row in that copy of the recordset was changed.
You're looking for SQL Server Notification Services[^].

Thanks for your reply. Actually, i want that if any user update a specific column or delete the row in recordset; a message should be sent to every user at the same time.
Can you please provide me the way by which i can install SQL Server Notification Services. The link you provided me tell about services; but how to install?

Items 2 and 3 in this[^] list will let you download NS2.0.
And if you click on this previous link I gave you, there is a section dedicated to Installing it.

i really can't walk you through the entire process. It would take more than an article to explain it all. Just follow the documentation in the first link I posted and you'll find everything you need. I don't know of any VB6 examples that are still on the Web. It looks like everything has been converted over to VB.NET.

What you want to do is very labor intensive. It'll take so much code to do this that it's impractical. You'd be much better off writting the C code as a COM .DLL and calling it from the VB form.

I am trying to get this ActiveX control to work within Word 97:
http://www.codeproject.com/opengl/ntgraph3d_atl.asp[^]
I havr registered the control and made checked the box in the reference table, the control appears on the document as it should, but I just can't get it to draft any of the examples:
Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()
NTGraph3D1.ClearGraph
NTGraph3D1.AddElement
For i = 0 To 40
x = ((i - 20#) / 20#) * 3.15
For j = 0 To 40
NTGraph3D1.AddElement
z = ((j - 20#) / 20#) * 3.15
y = Sin(x) * Cos(z) + 2#
NTGraph3D1.ElementType(j) = 0
NTGraph3D1.ElementLineColor(i) = RGB(255, 0, 0)
NTGraph3D1.PlotXYZ x, y, z, j
Next
Next
NTGraph3D1.AutoRange
End Sub
Am I supposed to make any declarations or something?
Thanks

VB6 doesn't have an ImageButton.
The VB6 Button control does have an Image property. Being as I haven't used VB6 in about 6 years, I can't remember how it worked!

I recently created a program that allows you to put in a url in the textbox
and from that url you can download a program from the site you put in the textbox (as long as it is a link to the download part of that site) without accessing the internet explorer or your internet browser being open.
my question is that to access the internet you have to type in your username and password (the internet is using a proxy server) the error I get is 407 proxy authentication error (in other words it is blocking the program from downloading and asking the program for a password and username to access the internet. WHAT CODE CAN I USE SO THAT I CAN DOWNLOAD ANY PROGRAM WITHOUT THE
PROXY ASKING THE PROGRAM FOR THE USERNAME AND PASSWORD.

A***** wrote: from that url you can download a program from the site
How are you downloading this file and from what type of server? HTTP or FTP? In the .NET Framework 2.0, there is the HttpWebRequest class that can download files from a web server, and also has a .Proxy property where you can supply the proxy server IP or name, username, and password for the proxy.
There is NOTHING you can do to get around the proxy server without specifying any credentials.

Coming from VB6, I'm jumping straight to Visual Studio VB.NET 2005 Express (skipping VB.NET 2003). When I search this site or the Web for VB.NET 2005 article or sample code I get a lot of hits for VB.NET 2003 articles and code.
1) Can I assume that articles and code for VB.NET 2003 will work in VB.NET 2005?
2) I'm particularly interested in File and Directory manipulation. Reading all file names in a directory tree, changing their names, creating directories, copying, deleting etc. Does VB.NET 2005 have significant improvements/changes in this area over VB.NET 2003?
Thanks.
