* means any user
? means logged in users
so
<allow roles="administrators">
<deny users="?">
means that there are no rules set for loggein users that are not administrators ...

for some reason I can't edit my previous post to enable html tags; the missing script is:
allow roles="administrators"
deny users="?"

Actually:
+ *: all users.
+ ?: anonymous user.

I am working on a project which has a number of classes, these classes have all been compiled into a dll which is added to the solution as a Reference. I have made some changes to one of the classes but I am getting a compile error saying the code I added is not a member of the class, I have been told this is due to the dll not being compiled.
How can I get this compiled?

You need to compile the project whose dll you are using.

The dll project should be a different project, and the project which referencing the dll also in the same solution. First you compile the dll (class library) project, then try to compile other project. If still you are getting error means, remove the reference and add it again.

Thanks guys, I got that sorted.
I compiled the project containing the class library and then compiled the actual project and everything is fine.

I have a bound listbox to a sql datasource, the problem I have been having is that when I use the multiple select property I need to perform another procedure to find the highest factor of the selected items and return this to part of the form.
I have looked at using javascript but i'm not the best at it so if anyone can think of another way could you let me know.

Here are the steps that you may do:
+ Create the handler for the client side events of the listbox control like onclick, onchange, see select element[^]. You can register the handler in the control declaration or in code with the Attributes collection of the control.
+ Use javascript to walk through the item collection using the the options[^] property to collect the selected items and determine the highest one.
You can also easily find lots of sample scripts out there to access the contests of the select element. Just out of curiousity why you don't just do that at the server side as it seems much easier.

with
DECLARE @tbNames table(Name nvarchar(256) COLLATE Database_Default NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY)
Again Thank you very much

use javasciript code for confirmation.
|
|
|
|
|
Try adding this after the tag
function confirmDelete(e) {
var targ;
if (!e) var e = window.event;
targ = (e.target) ? e.target : e.srcElement;
if (targ.nodeType == 3) targ = targ.parentNode;
if (targ.id.toLowerCase().indexOf("delete") >= 0) {
return confirm("Are you sure you want to delete?");
}
}
document.onclick = confirmDelete;
<\script>
Please note the button you click to delete the item from the datagrid must be called delete as this function will check to see if the button you clicked has text value set to 'delete'

Can you be more specific about you own date/time objects? What about the System.DateTime structure in the .Net framework?
