Although the lounge is a great place, is it possible to add a link to it in the discussion boards page, and also at the top of any other board your viewing in the same format as ther others, like
The Lounge (136000/3), showing how many new posts there are?
This would bring this one board in line with all the rest and make CP have a more consistent user interface across the board(s).

If I had a quote, it would be a very good one.

This won't quite meet your needs, but what i've done is added this link to my links toolbar. This way at least i see post counts for the other forums while in the lounge.

Thanks for the new feature Chris, where the forum sorts itself in such a manner, so that the post you reply to is shown on screen. This is such a brilliantly beautiful feature for threads with more than 25 posts. Now we go straight to the post in question. Good idea and excellently executed. I know this is the "Suggestions" forum, but I had to post it here as I didn't find a "Thank You" forum anywhere

Yes, I do like the new feature. That's what I was trying to express in my first post. I thought I had made that quite obvious.

Is this still a possibility. It seeemed as though the majority of people who responded to the thread asking about were in favor of it.

We'd also need a disclaimer on top saying that only managed questions will be entertained. We don't want someone coming and asking about MFC or ATL or WTL. Only Managed .NET based C++ questions

Actually I think questions about how to interact MFC with .NET would be viable, but would probably become FAQ soon enough.

But we can all bet our asses that it won't be Mike Dunn who writes that FAQ. He still refuses to do managed coding

How about letting us choose which column of the forums table to base the sorting on when you view the list from the "message boards" link?
If it is a hassle to implement, don't bother I'd rather see CP.NET

Right now it sorts on message count I think, which is sorta okay I guess.
But since there are only about 12-15 boards, what's the big deal? It's not as if we are on puny 15" monitors huh? We have at least 17 right, all of us?

LOL
Well I still have a 15" at home, so I can actually do both. Though it's hard to whine at myself for not buying myself a monitor

I've still got a 15" myself, Nish. And it doesn't generally bother me. But when I'm trying to work in InterDev (piece of crap) it can get frustrating to navigate.

Any chance of having the "My Bookmarks" list separated into their repsective categories?
I don't know about anyone else but my list of bookmarks is growing and finding what I'm looking for would be easier if the categories were there.
