Hi,
Using the Required Field Validator,and the Regular Expression Validator we can validate the login form .
Otherwise go with the inbuilt Login Control in Asp.Net2.0

I just bought a new computer and I install visual studio express last night. Is there an easy way to take the site I developed locally on my previous computer and transport it to my new computer. The site before was developed in VS 2003. I have no problem getting the site from one computer to another but I am curious what all I need to transfer. Anyone have any clue?

Not shure for Express but regular VS has a conversion wizard which fiers automaticlly when you open a ASP.NET 1.1 application in it.

Q:What does the derived class in C# tell to it's parent?
A:All your base are belong to us!

So when I should put my previous website in the webroot folder and put the solution in the 2005 Visual Studio folder? Then when I try to use my project it should convert automatically?

I’ve built a website using the ASP.NET 2.0 Membership login structure and controls. Now I want to be able to login using a C# client program on my PC (no browser) as well. The question is should I use the traditional Socket.TcpClient and TcpListener for this? Or is there a better way? Basically, what's the best way to login to the ASP.NET Membership system from a remote client? What class should i use? Thanks.

Hi All,
I am working on PowerPoint Automation. I have an image stored in the database which I have to insert in ppt slide. Can anybody give me some pointer to how to do this?
I am using the following piece of code
objSlide.Shapes.AddPicture(fn,Microsoft.Office.Core.MsoTriState.msoFalse,Microsoft.Office.Core.MsoTriState.msoTrue,380,200,0,0);
where fn is the name of the file.
But i can not see the image in the slide.
Thanks,
Avanika

You will have to get the picture from database and store it in the Image class. After that you can use that Image class for your slide.

Hi,
I am develpoing an intranet application using ASP.Net which uses crystal reports. The IIS is installed in my machine. But the printer is connected to server. When I try to take printout it raises an error as:
Error in File C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Temprt.rpt: Request cancelled by the user.
The code I used is:
crpt.PrintOptions.PrinterName = "\\geo01\hp LaserJet 1300 PCL 6"
crpt.PrintToPrinter(1, False, 1, 1)
Can any one please say me how to fix this problem.
Thanx
monika.

First make it sure that you are able to take printout on that network printer normally like for testing you can just print a Wrod document.
If you are able to take printout on that network priner, then copy your rpt file outside the wwwroot folder just to check the accessbilty of that file to printer.

You will have to write a class for HTTP Upload. Which can upload data on the given HTTP locaion.
