Hello...
You can put a and make the | runat=server and put all your client code in that | .
Eg :-
In code behind adding this
TbMain.InnerText.ToString()
You will get the complete table block from the | i.e

No, .innerhtml doesn't seem to work. I've tried it with a
no success.
However, putting in a hidden server field, and getting the innerhtml from the div in javascript works, BUT I get an "UNKNOWN ERROR" popup-window when trying to set the hid1.value = div's inner html!
I tried setting .value = 'test'; WORKS FINE
Why is that
'''''heres some code''''
var strHTML = "";
strHTML = document.getElementById('<%=divTables.ClientID%
').innerHTML.toString();
alert(strHTML); //just a test
document.getElementById('<%=hid1.ClientID%>').value = strHTML.toString();
//then it breaks.
but if its a different string, it works
please help

Hi Thx for reply
I given all the permisstions
Like Folder and .mdb file securty
and
Dim f As New FileIOPermission(PermissionState.None)
f.AllLocalFiles = FileIOPermissionAccess.Append
Dim f2 As New FileIOPermission(FileIOPermissionAccess.Write, Server.MapPath("Testdb.mdb"))
f2.AddPathList(FileIOPermissionAccess.Append Or _

Are you sure that the permission is granted to the right account?

FileIOPermissionAccess.Append, Server.MapPath("Testdb.mdb"))
This code does not help in this case as the user does not have write permission, for more information see Code Access Security[^]

Hi,
While running our website how to hide the icons in the desktop. can someone tell me how to hide the icons.
Thank you.
|

You want to hide the icons on the desktop of a machine that is browsing your site in IE ? Why ? There's no way to do this without some sort of warning being shown to the end user, you're gonna have to write a program and trust that your users will install it. No way are you gonna be able to do that in javascript.

How to create dynamic menus in asp.net 1.1 ?
Have any one have any idea other than using third party controls like infragistics?

menus are a javascript creation. I don't believe there's anything built in to .NET, you need to write one, or find one.

The Parameters what you are passing is not correct that is why you are getting the error. Correct them.

We did a deployment over the weekend which could have really gone south. In our situation we copy our files out to two shares. Then another group does the deployment which involves bringing down IIS, unregistering components, copying files, registering...etc.
I was considering writing an installer for them that would do the whole bit but I thought I'd throw this out to the folks here. Any suggestions, ideas or best practices??

Hi, I am using CheckBoxList control, and i want user to re-arrange the items in the listbox on his preferences.
I want to use javascript for the same so that no postback occurs.
Can someone please help me out.
Thanks and regards,
Deepak

You want to do this with the actual list ? I'm sure this can be done, web parts do it pretty much, but it sounds like a lot of work to set up, especially if you expect it to work cross browser ( may not be possible ).
The core issue IMO is that you have a CheckBoxList, if it's rendered and then you change the order, I am not sure that the postback will be able to restore the list from view state ( because you'll have changed the order of controls ).
