That depends on how precisely and accurately you have to specify the location.
Every map is distorted in some way or another, as the map is flat while the earth is not. If the map is distored in the way that produces a linear coordinate grid, it's easy to calculate the location from the coordinates of the edges of the map.

Yes, I know what you mean. There is no reason to merge images to do that. Have a look at this map function that I have made recently. The blue circle is an image that is displayed on top of the map image.

Hi,
A Web server exclusively handles HTTP requests, whereas an application server serves business logic to application programs through any number of protocols.

HI,
In my application there are four pages (Page1, Page2, Page3 and Page4).
Each page have some basic controls and Web grids and also a "Save" button.
If I click on a "Save" button from any page all four pages data is to be saved to Database.
I am using Asp.net 2.0, C# and Sql Server 2005
Thanks and Regards,
Uma

Hi,
+You can make use of 'MultiView' control, but it is a single .aspx file.
In this, you can show single (Web Page) .aspx file LIKE a multiple page.
+But you can achieve what you need exactly by storing all the Page Values in Session or something else, before Saving to Database.

Jay

<br />
dim i as integer<br />
i=dgrid.items.count<br />
for i = 0 to count-1<br />
Dim strconst As String<br />
If dgrid.Items(i).Cells(4).Text.Trim Is Nothing Then<br />
strconst = ""<br />
Else<br />
strconst = dgrid.Items(i).Cells(4).Text<br />
End If<br />
next<br />
but even if the cell is blank, the if does't works and the variable contains <big>"& n b s p ;". </big> let me know how to fix this. thanks in advance.

The Trim method never returns Nothing. If the result after trimming spaces is an empty string, the result is the empty string, not Nothing.
If you have the html code for a non-breaking space in the field, you have to look for that code. The Trim method doesn't recognise html codes.

A textbox never contains Nothing as its value.
Are you working with asp:Textbox or with CMS Editor?

I'd tend to use delegates to allow events in one control to communicate something to the main page, which can then pass the info on to the other control as appropriate.

Do you not know how to use delegates ? Google has lots of examples...
public class UserControl1
{
public delegate void PassAString(string s);
public PassAString OnPass;
public void SomeEvent(object sender, EventArgs ea)
{
if (PassAString != null) PassAString("this is the value");
}
}
public class Form1
{
protected UserControl1 u1;
protected UserControl2 u2;
private void GetAString(string s)
{
u2.TheString = s;
}
private void OnLoad(//etc
{
u1.OnPass += new UserControl1.PassAString(this.GetAString);
}
}
So, the main form hooks up the event, and when it fires, it takes the value it's passed ( whatever that is ) and sends it to the other control.
