You can use GetItemCount for get items of List and use from a loop with GetItemText for read of listctrl.

Sir,
The option for writing the ASP.net application is provided in the vc++.net.
But i don't know how to make a web application invc++.net.
Please help.

I thing you are talking about ASP.net application with CLR . CLI forum[^] may be helpful for you.

The option is provided to write a web service.
You've been asking this for days. What do you want here ? You CANNOT wirte an ASP.NET web site in C++. When you ask about VC++.NET web sites, I assume that is what you mean. It's also possible to write web sites in c++ that are ISAPI filters, etc, but I can't imagine any reason to do that, beyond self hatred.
Why are you asking this over and over ? Why don't you listen to what people are telling you ? What's your motivation for using C++ for a web site ?

Hi all
I'm trying to combine together MFC collection classes using CString objects.
I'm compiling with the command line using the following:
cl /Zi /EHsc /D "DEBUG" /D "_DEBUG" TestCollection.cpp /link /NODEFAULTLIB:LIBCMT.lib
When I compile the application without the option /D "UNICODE" and /D "_UNICODE" I've got on the console the output
ITA: <strange character=""> buono
ENG: it's good.
Hoping that UNICODE will fix the strange character I insert the 2 related unicode defines in the command line batch and the otput now is
ITA: 00A96FF8
ENG: 00A96FA8
Do you know why?
Bye Manu

A Unicode string is a short *. I think you need wcout. cout is printing out the memory address of your pointer. You could also use wstring to store the value.

Declare the following somewhere:
#ifdef _UNICODE
#define tcout std::wcout
#else
#define tcout std::cout
#endif // _UNICODE
And use tcout instead of cout/wcout.

How can i write a select SQL statement for the DB that uses the string from CEdit1 ?
lets say database name : "Names_City" class : CNames_City
col 1 : "name"
col 2 : "city"
col 3 : "country"
CString sName , sCity , sCountry;
CEdit1 : "m_name" sName;
CEdit2 : "m_city" sCity;
CEdit3 : "m_country" sCountry;
1) i have onChange for "m_name .When i write some txt in m_name i need to search in "Names_City > name = and if it matches i need the city in m_city and the country in m_country "
2)when i write in m_city and then in m_name i need to search in "name","city" and if m_name == "name" and m_city == "city" i need "country" in m_country.
* Remember i have ~260.000 Records ;
thank you in advance !
*please show me an example !

Does it occur to you that your time could be better spent listening to the answers you have recieved ? Is this your homework ? Are you being paid to write this code ? Both of those things are OK ( although I shudder to think that you're being paid to do this ), and even if neither were true, we'd still be telling you to think for yourself. The difference is, I wonder if you're being paid, or if you have an assignment due, what you're doing with the time between questions, as you're obviously not trying to solve your problem yourself.
