Can any one plzzzz let me know the reasons opf session log out whether the ASP.Net state service is running or not, plz reply me ASAP.
1. sessionTimeout
2. changes made in web.config/machine.config
3. Reset IIS
4. aspnet work-processor is overloaded.
5. Application shutdown
You probably missed one thing if the user is not interactime for a specific period then also there will be session timeout.

where r u getting the dll from and where r u putting it?
and does it contain any paths inside the classes?
Actually the dll taken from the other solution,in that contains 2 projects, one project is made dll and use that dll in another project.I taken that dll and tried to added it to my solution references
I put the dll in outside the inetpub and then tried to add
Try putting both dlls in the bin folder and take the reference from there, check if the dll is cashed somewhere in
[Drive]\Windows\Microsoft.net\Framework\[YourFramework]\Temporary ASP.NET Files\[YourProjects]
paste the new ones in there if the old ones exist, and include the 2 dlls.
Hopefully this would be solved

You may have to set the refernce(of that DLL) in the references section of the solution.

Some images are kept in a shared folder(UNC Share) in a system and ASP.NET application running in some other system is accessing the contents in this using
Bitmap bmp= new Bitmap(\\system\sharedfolder\filename)
and getting Parameter Error.
Do we need to any permission to that shared folder
a) IIS is running on the content server
b) IIS is not running on the content server

Guess u need to do web sharing not simple sharing (u can do it by right clicking on the directory and share the folder) that would create a virtual dirctory that can be accessed simply.
I'm not sure if the other way works fine on different machines but u can change the folder security permissions and add the ASPNET user with write access.
Hope this would help

First you need to make your string into a string by putting quotes around it:
Bitmap bmp = new Bitmap("\\system\sharedfolder\filename")
Now that code will at least compile.
You need permission for the user account running the ASP.NET code to access the file. The account is usually ASPNET or IISWPG, but a different account can be specified for the application.
If the content server is running IIS or not is irrelevant, as you are not using IIS of the content server to access the file.
Start by sharing the file to everyone, so you see that it works, then you can try to limit the access if you want. As the account has to be present on both computers, you might have to use a domain account. Even if there is a user account with the same name present on the content server, it may not be the same account as they are identified by their unique identifier, not by the name.

how to set image border in asp.net with c#?ie,how to set a (x,y)cordinate value for a pixel?
pls help.
Your question need a bit of clarifying.
Do you want to add a border to the image itself, or do you just want to display a border around the image in the browser?
Each pixel already have a coordinate value, and you can't change it. Do you mean that you want to specify a coordinate? If so, do you mean a screen pixel or a pixel in an image, and what do you want to do with the pixel?
