can u please send me the syntax???

|
|
|

You can send value (which is kaushal in this case) with querystring like this:
string str = "../Destination.aspx?var=kaushal";<br />
Response.Redirect(str);
You can retrieve it like this in the destination page:
string str1 = Request.QueryString[var].ToString();

Yes you can pass multiple values this is how you can do that:
string str = "../Destination.aspx?var=" + TextBox1.Text + "&Var1=" + TextBox2.Text;

If you are using ASP .NET 2.0, you can use "cross page posting". Take a look at this video tutorial: http://www.only4gurus.net/video/aspnet/hilo_tips_final.wmv[^] . The part about cross page posting begins at about 5:00 minutes into the video. It's a pretty cool feature if you don't want to use the QueryString.

AFAIK, you cannot change these values, if you don't want it you may consider using your own confirm box with allows you to customize what you want. There are a couple of controls posted here at CP and available out there.

If it is JavaScript, then 'NO'. You can get this in VBScript.
But if it is VBScript, then it is only IE on Windows.

Call the JavaScript function ‘window.open’.
window.open( [page name],[window name],'status=yes,width=700,height=400');

Hi,
I'm quite a newbie to the ASP.Net game. I've built an application using Visual Web Devloper, ASP.Net 2.0 and C# which relies heavily on its database connection for frequent writes and retrieves. This is all running fine on my local machine.
I need to deploy it to a web server and set up ODBC access to the database as I have another application which will also be reading and writing to the database, simultaneously to the ASP.Net front end.
My questions are, what do I do to deploy this to a remote site? How do I set up security and access permissions for the ODBC connection? What facilities or specification will I require from my host? My database, as initially created has a .mdf file extension - when published will this be accessible to multiple concurrent users, or do I need to store the database in some other way. How do I upload the database to my server?
I appreciate that these are quite open questions, but I'd really value any help or direction you can give. You can see how little I know so far
Thanks in advance,
Alice
