Hey,
I'm trying to write a program that views pictures and using left/right buttons, allows you to view the next/previous image in a folder of many other images. Well, I'm also using a hidden File List Box to browse through the pictures, but, without clicking on the next file in the List Box, how do I select the next file?
I hope this isn't too confusing! Please let me know.

If the FileListBox is hidden, why are you even using it? You'd have an easier time just getting the list of files on your own and managing the collection. Then there's nothing to "click on", (in a hidden control, why would you even want to?).

Ok, how do I go about listing and managing the files?

All you need is an array to hold the filepaths in returned by Directory.GetFiles()[^]. After that, you can enumerate through that array and process all the files.
Dim filelist As String()
filelist = Directory.GetFiles(folderPath)

Both [ENTER] keys are specified by Keys.Enter . There is no difference between the two keys. They both have the same virtual key code comming out the of the keyboard driver - VK_RETURN.

You can't get this information unless you write a global keyboard hook. There are many examples of this all over the web.
A little Google goes a long way. Search for "c# keyboard hook[^]" and you'll come up with examples. THe very first link is an article right here on CP.

You're going to have to be more specific than that. There's hundreds and hundreds of techniques, but what you do depends on how you've written your code and what your code is supposed to be doing. There's just no way to answer this question with the information you've given.
If your app is just consuming memory until the system runs out, then you've got a problem where your not releasing resources properly, like calling Dispose() on objects when you're done with them.

YOu'd be better off asking this in the ASP.NET forum. I think it has something to do with using Server.MapPath to generat the path to the report you want, but I don't know for sure.

Hi,
How to acces DB2 from .Net? what name space we have to use.
Give me sample code for connection.
Thanks........

You'd be using the System.Data.OleDb if you're not using one supplied by IBM. You can get connection string examples from ConnectionStrings.com[^]

Hi,
How to place a comobox in DataGrid In VB.Net
Thanks........
|
|

You're question is a bit vague. What do you want this combobox to do? Is this box going to be bound to a datasource so you can pick values from a table? Are you supplying your own values, seperate from a database?

Eric
You really want some articles on getting started with ADO.Net I just did a quick google on "getting started with ado.net vb" and came back with a load of what looked like suitable articles.
If you're having problems with the connection string check out this site:

Hope this helps
