I have a datalist. Linkbuttuon inside it. On clikc of which i need to fll up a data repeater with images of particular id .(commandargument of linkbutton is id) Now I need to do this same with href. Means I want to put href instead of linkbutton .so
I want fun() calls the codebehind method which fills up datarepeater with images of particular id. But I dont want this to be ajax method as it wont access server controls in code behind. means if fun('id') calls FillUp() in code behind which is declared as ajax method then i wont be able to get repeater access in it . Now i m trapped here. Neither I can use ajax nor I want to use linkbutton as on its mouseover i get javascript_dopostback() comes which need to be removed. so plz suggest any alternative ?
Prob 1 : put linkbutton but remove javascript_dopostback() from status bar on mouseover.
Prob 2 : If use anchor instead linkbutton then how to fill up repeater with javascript method.

I tried to use push model to create crystal reports in our project. For that i got sample code from our codeproject forum.

I've one Image control on form.
I'm using FileUpload control to browse an image.
I want to display the selected image in the Image control when I click on Open Button in DialogBox(which opens after clicking Browse button).

u can do in two
1) direct set the path of image control url to filecontrol.path
or
2) first save on local machine on default location with the help of map path and then set imageurl to default path

right click on control and selectect run at serer.

On the link you can call a javascript function like :
<a href="javascript:Validate_content();">Delete</a>
and define this javascript function to see Yes/No confirmation box.....

Hi,
I am using a multiple dropdownlist and want to select more than one items coming from database..
Let say, the multiple dropdown has following items :

2
3
4
5
and from database an array with values 2 and 5 is coming.
string[] val = {2, 5};
I want to select 2 and 5 in the dropdownlist.
Please help.

You can't use a DropDownList for multiple selections. This is a limitation of the resulting HTML, not ASP .NET. You have to use a ListBox instead if you want to select multiple items.

Does anyone know if the asp.net adrotator control supports flash banners.
If so, how does the XML file look with a flash banner in it. I am trying to
get a .swf flash file to work with the adrotator and it doesn't seem to be
displaying. I just not sure what needs to done.

In VS2003 whenever I wanted something done in the PreRender phase, I'd select the Page class from the control dropdown, select the events (on the lightning icon) and then double click on PreRender.
Where do I access the same functionality in VS2005...?
I know I could just hook up to the event in the Page_Load method, but I wanted to do it "right" :->
