Hi,
Why do you use mid by the way ?. Just split the sentence on space character and then finding the length of array gives you the number of words in the string.
Just simple as it looks.

I have a problem with transparent. On form, i have 30 controls. And i want 30 controls have backcolor= transparent ( so the BackGroundImage of form can be displayed ). But when i did that, the performance is very bad. When the form is loaded, it's very slow.
So, how could i increase the performance of the form ( when form is loaded )
Please give some some instructions

30 controls each with a transparent background?? There's really nothing you can do about the performance. When a controls BackColor is set to Transparent, it's not really transparent. This tells the controls to take on the properties of the parent containers background. So, if you use a BackgroundImage in a parent container, portions of the image are copied to the background of the controls it contains. You're not using one background image, you're using 31 images. So, knowing that, there's really no way of speeding it up, short of not using a background image.
