Any solution that requires dynamically creating database tables is the wrong solution. There is almost no exception to this rule.

Try explaining what you are trying to achieve and I guarantee you there is a more straightforward way to do it.

u can't say that something "is the wrong solution"
u can say that there r better solutions because u donno the scenario

hai there
i need to upload feed back form to the database
1) feed back varies for each course
client conduct's training programmes on various topics

each programmes wuld be havibg n number of sessions

for example
a course would be having 6 sess,7 sess,8 sess,9 sess....
while we are submitting feedback we need to rate each session
once i clik on submit button a these feed back has to be submitted dependinbg on sessions

Try replying in english rather than txtspk!! Roll eyes | :rolleyes:

Dynamically creating tables IS the wrong solution - there are VERY few scenarios where it is even workable, let alone worthwhile!

Definately 100% do not create tables on the fly for this.

All feedback should go into an appropriately named table with a foreign key linking them back to whatever information you want to store about each session.

Hai there,.....

Actually, i did coding for dropdownlist boxes loading (i.e : -) Three dropdown boxes i have[ country, state , Project]. If user select any country means, according to the user's selection, the State and Project should be loaded in the corresponding boxes. Without using page reloading, i finished successsfully by Javascript and AJAx....

But if i use JAvascript means, the selected value cannot be get at server side.. Only HTML dropdownlist i used.

If i use AJAX means, i can't able to convert that codebehind aspx.cs file into inline coding. Why i'm going to inline means , in remote server .cs file cannot be able to uploaded and that's y i trying in inline..... And also what pagedirectives i've to use at aspx file if i converted that aspx.cs file into dll file.............

Please help me sir....

I am uploading the excel file in my current project.

The field with only alphabets and
the field with only numbers are beeing uploaded proprly
but the fields with alpha-numerics gives blank value while
uploading.

If anyone have any idia about this then
pls let me know

HELLO ALL,

I AM MAKE RESOURCES FILE TO SWITCH BETWEEN TWO LANGUAGES WITH ASP.NET,

Client Callback Implementation

I got an error while I am implementing callback in my application.The error is as fillows:

"The Controls collection cannot be modified because the control contains code blocks (i.e. <% ... %>). "

I tried to implement the callback concept using the ICallbackEventHandler and javascript code.

If anyone have an idea please help me.

when i create file in wwwroot directory then following error occurs but not in c:\\ path.

ASP.NET is not authorized to access the requested resource. Consider granting access rights to the resource to the ASP.NET request identity. ASP.NET has a base process identity (typically {MACHINE}\ASPNET on IIS 5 or Network Service on IIS 6) that is used if the application is not impersonating. If the application is impersonating via <identity impersonate="true">, the identity will be the anonymous user (typically IUSR_MACHINENAME) or the authenticated request user.

To grant ASP.NET access to a file, right-click the file in Explorer, choose "Properties" and select the Security tab. Click "Add" to add the appropriate user or group. Highlight the ASP.NET account, and check the boxes for the desired access.

in web.config i also get the error like "The View State is invalid for this page and might be corrupted"

Any idea to eleminate the error?
