I hope you know how to write insert queries in other databases(SQL Server / Oracle). If you know the queries and how to execute them for other databases, then it is the same case here.
Hope i got your point ...

Thanks, that helped a great deal!
Why come on a help forum if youre just gonna be a smart ass?

If you talk that way to people who try to help you, who do you expect to get help from in the future?
coolestCoders point is valid. For a basic insert statement there is no difference what so ever between SQL 2005 and other SQL based databases. If you don't know any SQL at all, a web search like "sql insert" would give you plenty of examples on how it's done.
A message board like this is not the best place to find information like that. As the question has been answered countless times before in articles, blogs, documentation and message boards, most of the time you will only be instructed to look at the available information. You will find that the message board will work much better for when you have a specific question.

Ah right so telling me i should already know is a valid answer?
Dont think so or else i wouldnt be asking really would i.

He's not just telling you that you should already know (which to be fair, you should if you want to be a programmer - INSERT statements are going to be your bread and butter), he's also telling you that a simple web search will sort you out....
People here will always be prepared to help, but you have to at least try to help yourself first. Google is your friend.

I think that he made the assumption that you already knew something about SQL, as you asked specifically for SQL Server 2005. This assumption was of course not very well grounded, but that is because you provided very little information in your question.
Are you learning anything about how message boards work from this, or are you just trolling?

Hai,
I want to create a directory in the system localharddisk through my Web application(C# Asp.Net) . I used this coding inside the button click event.
System.IO.Directory.CreateDirectory("c:\\FolderName");
While running it creates a folder successfully in my system. When i try to run this same application from another system(client), the creation process is happening in server only. I want to create the folder in that particular systems harddisk(ie,client). In What way i can implement it... Give the solution.........
Thanks......................
Thanks in Advance

Write the javascript to create the folder it will create on client side not on server side

Your question is not very clear. Do you want to send some selected value to the next page if so then you can use querystring or store it in session.
