Hi
I believe there is some property that you can set using the ADO Fields collection... not sure though. Have you tried googling for it?

How can i convert Microsoft Acesss 97 to Microsoft Acesss 2000, using Visual Basic 6.0, the problem is that my client database is Microsoft Access 97 and my software uses Microsoft Access 2000 so for that i have to convert Access-97 to Access-2000 programatically.

Hi
So long as all data retrieval / update is done programmatically using ADO or OLEDB, it doesnt really matter whether your client uses Access 97 or 2000. It is only when they want to open the database directly in Access will they face a problem.
Hope this helps

Actually i want to convert the Access-97 Database to Access-2000 Database, because i am adding/deleting coloumns programitically, so my software gives error if the Access is older version, for adding or deleting the columns.
Please reply.
With regards,
Sunil Lanke.

Maybe then you will need to look at _how_ you are adding / deleting columns, since I have done this many times with Access 97 and it seems to work fine.

You can use a service like dyndns to get a static IP.

If your server has a static IP, your clients can broadcast their IP to that known location.

So, once a client is connected to the server, the server needs to publish other client IP addresses.

Aarrgghhh !!!
Seriously, what is so confusing to you ?

You're just plain wrong. As the server has a static IP, the client can transmit their IP to the server when they connect, and so the server can publish a list. How do you think that Napster used to work ?

They are static enough for to communicate in one session - that session can last for days or months! When the client disconnects the server stops publishing the IP address. When the client connects again (possibly with a new IP address) the server can publish that new IP address.
What is so difficult about that?

Look into the Graphics and Bitmap classes, they will tell you all you need to know for how to draw stuff. The specifics of how you want to represent your data is up to you.

Canon cameras have an SDK, which is in C. The older cameras ( which you can't buy anymore ) have a C# wrapper you could use, if you can buy a used camera. Some other cameras have some sort of SDK support, but none as good as Canon.
You could write a wrapper for the new SDK, and buy an A640, that's the one that has SDK support now.

You have not set a position for the textbox. It probably exists, but not in the visible area of the form.

Thanks, Christian Graus!
the following code:
Dim i As Integer
For i = 0 To i <= 10
Dim textBox(i) As TextBox
dim e as integer
textBox(i).Multiline = True
textBox(i).ScrollBars = ScrollBars.Vertical
textBox(i).AcceptsReturn = True
textBox(i).AcceptsTab = True
textBox(i).WordWrap = True
textBox(i).Text = "Welcome!"
textBox(i).Visible = True
textBox(i).Location = New Point(16 + e, 32)
Me.Controls.Add(textBox(i))
i = i + 1
e = e + 5
Next
Note: but after i set the position but It's also didn't comeout the textbox? then how to get the textbox comeout?

Doesn't think mean that i is increased twice per loop ?
Have you tried stepping through and checking things like the Size and Location property after it's added to the controls collection ?

How do you expose all objects of directshow. All I found is to reference quartz.dll, that only gives limited.

If you download the latest platform SDK, DirectShow has a managed interface. Or, there are wrappers on the web, including at least one on CP.
