No, both frameworks can sit side-by-side. You'll get an additional tab in IIS called ASP.NET because you'll have to tell IIS which version of the .NET Framework the web application is running in.

how to write the Query to exclude a row that the will not be taken
i have to write a query in which i do not want to include one row how do i write the query?

That is a bit vague. You write the WHERE clause in the SQL Query to exclude the thing that you don't want. So, for example if you don't want a row where the Surname column is "Smith" you'd write:
SELECT ColumnNames FROM TableName WHERE Surname <> 'Smith'

What are you trying to get by printing (i,j)? Do you want the .Text property of the TextBox to be "(10,23)"? If so, you need to take the .ToString method of both integers and print that instead.
Try this:
Dim i As Integer = 10<br />
Dim j As Integer = 23<br />
<br />
TextBox1.Text = "(" & i.ToString & "," & j.ToString ")"
That should do it for you.

Hey Guys
Using Winsock application under vb.net 2005
Using same client, i want to connect to many remote servers
the Exception that i m facing : "cant not send data while not connected"
i knew the problem of this Exception:the client is sending data before being connected to the specified server,hence, can you guys give me a simple hint what to add to slow the commincation,and thus wait the connection to be created,then send the message "exit;"
note : i tried to use timer,but to tell you the truth, i didnt know how to well use it :S
this is the code that i am using at the Client side
Public Sub connect()<br />
Try<br />
For Each cb As CheckBox In Me.GBBranches.Controls<br />
wskClient.Connect(cb.Text, 5000)<br />
wskClient.Send("exit;")<br />
Next<br />
Catch noCon As Exception<br />
MsgBox(noCon.Message)<br />
<br />
End Try<br />
End Sub<br />

If you want to connect to multiple hosts at the same time it may be simpler to just use multiple sockets, maybe in an array.

I don't know your DLL but I assume that in the Connect(Par1, Par2) method, Par2 is the timeout.
What is Par1?
Does sending the "Exit;" command cause your DLL to close the socket? You may want to look for an explicit close() command, to ensure it gets closed.
If you think a delay is all that's required, try the following:
Public Sub connect()
Try
For Each cb As CheckBox In Me.GBBranches.Controls
wskClient.Connect(cb.Text, 5000)
MyDelay(1) 'Calls for a 1 second delay before sending "exit;"
wskClient.Send("exit;")
Next
Catch noCon As Exception
MsgBox(noCon.Message)
'
End Try
End Sub
'
'Here is the code for a method that will cause a delay in seconds,
'please note this does not make use of the timer control.
'(Just import Microsoft.VisualBasic.DateAndTime & System.Windows.Forms.Application
'at the top to simplify your code)
'
Private Sub MyDelay(ByVal x As Long)
'Allow x seconds to wait for connection
Dim EndTime As Single
EndTime = Microsoft.VisualBasic.DateAndTime.Timer + x
Do
System.Windows.Forms.Application.DoEvents()
Loop While (EndTime > Microsoft.VisualBasic.DateAndTime.Timer)
End Sub
This should do the trick, however i'm not entirely convinced that the delay is what you need, if the DLL's code is available it would be easier to debug.

I'm not even sure what you're asking, but it sounds straightforward to me. That is, it sounds like you're describing a basic business rule ( albeit not very well ). What do you need to know ?
