You might want to clarify your question then. I would have given you the same answer.
Are you asking about the events fired by a TextBox or something?

You use the user manual by reading it.
As that answer is so terribly obvious, that is probably not the answer that you were looking for. That means that you have to clearify your question.
i have a homework
Credits for admitting that.
to make Decision Support system
That is an assignment that can not be done without specifying it more precisely. As the article on DSS on WikiPedia[^] says, there is no universal definition of what a DSS system is.

In the article I references above, you will find mentioned some applications.

Hi!
I'm trying to select an entire row of a datagrid with the index number of the row.
When I use the .select method of the datagrid, it only selects the row and the ParentRow selector(the little arrow on the left of the row) does not move to the row.
Is there any way to make this work?
thanks!

Try this
<br />
datagrid.CurrentRowIndex = someIndex<br />
That works for me.

Hi,
See if you can adapt this piece of code to your needs:
Private Function ButtonLock(ByVal key As Boolean)<br />
Try<br />
Dim Ctrl As Control<br />
For Each Ctrl In Controls<br />
If TypeOf Ctrl Is Button Or TypeOf Ctrl Is ComboBox Then<br />
Ctrl.Enabled = key<br />
End If<br />
Next<br />
Catch Ex As Exception<br />
msgbox(Ex.message)<br />
End Try<br />
End Function
Hope it helps,
Johan

If you have a collection of TextBoxes you can do this
For Each tb As TextBox In CollectionName
tb.Text = Nothing
Next

Hi,
I have the following code that reurns the user logged in on my PC.
AppDomain.CurrentDomain.SetPrincipalPolicy(PrincipalPolicy.WindowsPrincipal)<br />
Dim t As Threading.Thread = Threading.Thread.CurrentThread<br />
Dim p As WindowsPrincipal = Threading.Thread.CurrentPrincipal<br />
Dim wi As WindowsIdentity = p.Identity<br />
Dim is As String = wi.name<br />
Me.label1.Text = fullyQUserName<br />
Now i need to upgrade this code to be functional on a network, the application is running on the server, i want to know the logged in user on a machine "x" (name of the machine as parameter)
Thanks

Sorry, the previous code was wrong.
The following is the right code :
AppDomain.CurrentDomain.SetPrincipalPolicy(PrincipalPolicy.WindowsPrincipal)
Dim t As Threading.Thread = Threading.Thread.CurrentThread
Dim p As WindowsPrincipal = Threading.Thread.CurrentPrincipal
Dim wi As WindowsIdentity = p.Identity
Dim fullyQUserName As String = wi.name
Me.label1.Text = fullyQUserName

Hi,
If you wont specify the details, no one will be able to help you. Also, ideally you should implement your own logic first, and in case of any problem, turn to CP !

I am guessing that this is homework ? You need to find a component that will give you the names of CD tracks. Windows Media Player is one that knows how to get that info, and that is easy to interact with in code.
Have you been told what database you can use, or are you to write your own ( simple ) one ?
*grin* the menus are the easy bit.
OVerall, you really need to try to do this yourself, and come to us when you get stuck. We tend to not like it when people post their homework assignment, but when people have genuinely tried, and ask for help, we're always glad to help.
