You need a regex tutorial. There are a couple on Codeproject.

If you mean how to use a js file in an aspx, it's the same as it's always been - use a tag.
If you mean can a js file call an aspx method, then yes - but only through Ajax...the other way round (aspx "calling" js functions), then google for RegisterClientScriptBlock / RegisterStartupScript

Of course, yes.
This is the javascript.
function sample(fieldId, title)
{
if (title == "")
title = "Long Description";
document.Form1.submit();
}
Code behind:
this.btnSubmit.Attributes.Add("OnClick", "javascript:sample()");

I suggest you re-read what you pasted
you are redirecting to the value of strGO , but you are filling out the paypal url in a variable called str
That code is saying Response.Redirect(""); so no wonder it's not working

What do you mean by "NOT FOUND"? Is this an error message? If so, where and how is it displayed? Isn't there any more information?

Look at the url you are trying to redirect to....
http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr&cmd=_xclick&business=xyz@xyz.com
It should be:
http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_xclick&business=xyz@xyz.com

Why are you using ampersands?
Since you are using line terminators (;), shouldn't they be += ?

I am using checkbox to select multiple rows and then i need to diplay them in other 2nd grid(selectd rows).

You pretty much laid it out. You iterate through the original grid to check the checkbox status. If it's selected, add the item to another list (or datatable), then bind the new list/table to the 2nd grid.

I'm reasonably sure that you can't. The file input does not allow you to pre-populate it with a value for security reasons. Which is why the value will not be kept between post backs.

|
|
|
Why would you want to maintain a filename after postback?

hai,
I am developing a web application in which, every pages, should not need the toolbar, addressbar, statusbar,etc from the starting page.
Issue: How to make a page blank as mentioned above during the page load itself?
[I need either C# code or HTML code]

The simple answer is that you can't. However, you can achieve what you want. You can only set those things up when opening a window. So you can use the following javascript:
window.open("app.htm","", "toolbar=false,location=false,status=false,menubar=false,scrollbars=false");
So basically you'll need an extra page to "launch" the application, then you can just run your application within the newly created window.

Hi,
As per the three module of development (related to data access from SQL to the front -end and reports on Html)i have developed (ASP.net With c#) n tested it. Its running ok. Speed is also fine as compare to Crystal Report.
Sincearly i have no idea about how the data comes from SQL (format)to the main application.
Is there any better solution.. if there is then plzz kindly reply me..
sincerly,
Shriya

* You can try an optimise the queries you are using.
* You can return the minimum information (saving on network bandwidth and memory in the SQL Server)
* You can install a faster network
* You can install more memory in the SQL Server
* You can install faster hard disks in the SQL Server
* You can fine tune the indexes on the tables
I could go on if you wish, but you would be better buying a book on how databases work.
