It should be as regedit.exe. How to deduce data from the register?

YOu want to write a console app to edit the registry ? Why ?

The namespace Microsoft.Win32 holds several classes that deal with the registry, you just have to read the class library documentation.

Hello there.
I have a project to build a form with a tool box . This tool box contains Controls such as Button , Textbox , Label ... etc .
The main project is to let the user to build his own form in runtime and save it to xml file which is easy but i want to know how to add and drag the controls on the form .
Thank you in advance

Basically, you want to write code which tracks the mouse position, and draws the controls based on where you move the mouse. You want to handle all your mouse events, down, move and up. Then you need to keep track of the items you've drawn, and where they are. If you build it with actual controls, then you can use their click events to help you ( in a derived class, I'd think )

Thank you .
Can you give an example

Anything more complex than the example someone gave below would be non-trivial for me to crank out. You should start with that, and ask more questions as you get stuck.

Hi!
It's really easy.
The MouseMove event should be enough. Check if left mouse button is pressed, then change the Top, Left properties according to mouse positon
if(e.Button == MouseButtons.Left)
{
Point p = PointToClient(Form1.MousePosition);
if (Math.Abs(button1.Top - p.Y) > 5
|| Math.Abs(button1.Left - p.X) > 5)
{
if (p.X > 0
&& p.Y > 0)
{
button1.Top = p.Y;
button1.Left = p.X;
}
}
}

Thank you very much .. I'll try that.

How ironic the subject of this thread is, as you don't deserve any grade at all.

1) Go to class
2) Pay attention, perhaps even take notes
3) Read your text book
4) Find a computer and write some code
5) Observe that this is a C# forum and you are asking about C.
which might possibly lead to...
6) Learn to read
Seriously, the best way to learn to program is to write code. Experiment with it. Try different things. If you aren't willing to do that, do yourself a favor and find a university program that does interest you.
(I've been programming for 26 years and have always had test/experimenting projects that I use to try things out. Right now I have 34 such projects split unequally between VS 2003, VS 2005, C++ and C#. Some are simple console apps, others windows apps. One does nothing but help me write custom buttons. Several others have fine grain timer code in them so I can compare various algorithms. One is even devoted to a BPlusTree class that I never manage to finish.)

1 - do you mean C, C++, or C# ?
2 - please don't double post, you can edit a post, and/or delete it
3 - what on earth makes you think that you can type your homework questions into this site, and get an answer ? We love to help people, but people are usually more polite about asking, and generally try to do these sort of trivial tasks themselves before asking for help, if they get stuck.
There are plenty of sites where you can pay to get your homework done, if you hope to leave your course less employable than you were going in. If you actually want to succeed in life, come back when you've tried to do your own homework, and we'd love to help. But, ask nicely, and in the right forum ( and if you mean C#, say C# ).
