Hi,
I want, if user request a page and enters the site URL http://xyz.com in any browser it should be converted to http://wwww.xyz.com/
as my site is hosted on windows 2000 and IIS6.0 server. My website consists of both html as asp.net pages. so it should work for both.
Can anyone help me on this?
Thanks

Should that not be:
$result = ftp_get($connect,$localfile,$dfile,'FTP_ASCII');

I assume Microsoft would not use doors, because using Windows is faster.

It appears that you do not have access to the directory you are trying to access.

I am trying to automate a process in which we access a web site with a digital certificate and login/password. A web form is filled out and then submitted. I want to do a web request (POST) to submit the information, but do not know how to use the digital certificate and login/password authentication in code. Anyone have experience with something similar?
Thanks

What is your environment. If you are on Windows platform look at the Crypto API on MSDN.

2. Sending large no of mails taking too much time as I use SEND for each mail.

Once the email has been sent, there is no way to track delivery success other than 'Disposition Notification' Headers.
You can have a MailQueue service to process requests on the background. Check out http://www.persits.com/[^]

Hey
I am developing a site to sell a service, at the moment it uses encryption to handle passwords etc and i plan to use paypal as the method of transaction while the site is small. However if the site were to take off I would like to be able to offer card transactions. I realise there is a lot of risk for the customer using this method so I was wondering if any one can offer any help and/or articles on the topic of secure card transactions over the net.
I have looked at SSL - would this be the way forward?
Not sure this is the correct forum so sorry if it is not but it seemed the closest fit.
Cheers
Dan.

SSL is the best way to protect your users on the browser, but you need to look at the security all the way through the system, and not just at the front end, e.g. protecting your users credentials at the server, etc, which goes beyond just encrypting user passwords.
Arthur Dent - "That would explain it. All my life I've had this strange feeling that there's something big and sinister going on in the world."
Slartibartfast - "No. That's perfectly normal paranoia. Everybody in the universe gets that."
Deja View - the feeling that you've seen this post before.

I have just done similar. I went for BarclayCard ePDQ payment system. They then handle *ALL* the security aspects of the transaction. No personal data is entered on my site. I simply identify the new customer (in anyway I choose), provide them with a unique ID, pass that ID (along with the customer) to the payment site (over SSL, but it's their certificate, not mine), and once payment is complete, the payment site sends them back to anypage I want, along with the result of the transaction. Superb. Easy. Safe. And no a survey we did, it seemed potential users would much sooner pay using a recognised brand (barclaycard is in the UK), than they would entering their card details into a normal website, but they would still prefer doing that than paying by Paypal!

Angel

I have created an asp.net page with a ValidationSummary control. It works fine in all browsers, except Safari.
In Safari the text is rendered on the page, but you cannot see it until you drag the mouse over it to highlight it. Click the mouse again to stop highlighting, and the text remains visible on the page.
I have validated my html as best as I can (given the invalid html that VS generates), and I have searched for any reference to this bug, but have had no success. Has anyone else ever experienced this, or have any suggestions?
Words fade as the meanings change, but somehow, it don't bother me.

I get the error below when trying to write a file from my ASP.NET 2.0 application.
c:\inetpub\wwwroot\XpedAsp
I have given the IUSR, IWAM, and ASPNET accounts Full Control on this folder, so I'm stumped as to what to try next.

Try this:
In web.config add this line just below the node <authentication mode="Windows" />
<identity impersonate="true"/>

A colleague lending a fresh pair of eyes to the problem helped me discover that my actual file name was null. Using Server.MapPath on that returned only the web application root, sans file. It looks like the constructor for StreamWriter was attempting to open the root path as if it was a file, giving the access denied error.

What do you mean ? Do you mean Atlas ? Or just an ASP.NET site that uses AJAX ?

i thought that there is no more Atlas http://ajax.asp.net/default.aspx?tabid=47[^].
what i want is to see the functionality of the ajax on a online site, to be Specific(Microsoft AJAX Library)
