A LVN_ITEMCHANGED notification is sent to the control's parent.
This article may help: Adding Checkboxes to a list control[^]

maybe u change resource ID of the control?
use class wizard to delete member of the CListBox then add it again.
I just guess so.

If insert another combobox and declare a variable for it what happens?

Make sure you are trying to use the combo box after the base class version of OnInitialUpdate(...) has been called, or your controls may not have been created or attached-to yet.

Hello,
Recently I have been involved in a debate as to what environment (C# or C++) is better for developing a highly scalable Completion Ports based server capable of handling thousands of simultaneous connections (namely, its network layer). The issue is still open. I would really like to hear opinion of the community with all the pros and cons (within boundaries of the task, i.e. - network layer) of both environments. All opinions are very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance. Dennis.

FWIW, I believe that C# (or at least earlier versions of C#) did not have direct access to the APIs for using I/O Completion Ports - you had to basically do the C# equivalent of LoadLibrary(...) /GetProcAddress(...) (i.e. P/Invoke) to get to and make use of the functions.
Personally, I have always believed that if you have to use P/Invoke for the meat of your application, you are likely trying to wedge it into the wrong platform.
Peace!

Write a prototype in both and test. Then report those tests.
I'll put all my money on C++.

Thats's what I'm about doing. I myself believe that C++ is a by far better tool for this particular task.

Any document etc..

What "mapping"?
The best documentation of how MFC uses the Windows API is in the MFC source code.

Hi everyone,
I have a simple question: How to call an application using VC?
Thank you in advance.

See
ShellExecute()[^]
Or
CreateProcess()[^]
I'd love to help, but unfortunatley I have prior commitments monitoring the length of my grass. :Andrew Bleakley:

There are many APIs for calling an application, the simplest one is WinExec(..), and other is CreateProcess which is more detialed.
